Equipped for Exploits

Then the king promoted Daniel [to an exalted position] and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon

(Daniel 2:48, AMP)

To be equipped means to be supplied with the necessary items for a particular purpose according to the oxford dictionary. It also means to prepare (someone) mentally for a particular situation or task. In this year, one word that you should remember in every situation or circumstance is equipped. God has already equipped you for that.

An exploit is defined by the Cambridge dictionary as a brave, interesting, or unusual act: There is something brave, interesting, and unusual you are going to do this year, and you are (already) prepared mentally for that.

The Scripture says in Daniel 2:48 (AMP) that then the king promoted Daniel [to an exalted position] and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.

Before Daniel was promoted and presented with many great gifts, there was a task: not a good one; one that’s unusual. The King was ready to destroy all the wise men of Babylon if they fail to tell him about his dream and the interpretation. According to the wisdom of Babylon, no man had ever done that yet the king would show no mercy if they fail to meet his deadline.

The good news was that before King Nebuchadnezzar had that dream, In Daniel 1:17 (NLT) God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams. That is God equipped Daniel before this task or situation.

Therefore if you are alive to see this day, this week, this month, this year, then know that God has equipped you for exploits. The right people are within reach. The resources are available. The opportunities are visible. The mysteries are solved. The only thing to be done is to do what Daniel did. Daniel and his friends went to God and presented the case before Him. And because God had already gifted him in that area, the answers flowed smoothly that night.

The reason why you see different people with different challenges is that God permits His children to face challenges He knows that they are prepared (spiritually) for. This is why it is suicidal to think that what worked for your colleague would work for you. We are different people with different gifts which in turn attract different challenges.

I pray that God helps you to realize the gifts or the necessary items He has equipped you with to do exploits in this year and beyond in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Thought For The Day: He’s Got You! (08.21.20)

122 powerful people conspired against Daniel because He did exploits which prompted the King to make him the boss over all. The scriptures says that “this Daniel, because of the extraordinary spirit within him, began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and the satraps…” Daniel 6:3.

He couldn’t go unnoticed because of the presence of God in His life and dealings. And regardless of the decree made against him, He was strong enough to go on His knees 3 times and prayed. In the end, all of them were thrown into the same Den but ONLY Daniel came back alive

In the same way, your progress, promotion, exploits, etc because of God’s presence in your life won’t go unnoticed. People would come against you in many ways but God will strengthen you and what was meant to harm you would accelerate your greatness.

Live your life with this confidence that God’s got you and nobody can snatch you out of from His hand. Have a great day!

Thought for the Day: February 29, 2016

Philippians_4-6The enemy knows that If he can keep your mouth shut, then he can win the battle. So Don’t Stop Praying.

But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.(Daniel 6:10 NLT)
