Power Thought: Week 21

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right” -Henry Ford

Your life moves in the direction of your most dominant thoughts. In other words, you gradually become what you think of.

What separates the rich from the poor is how they think. Whereas the rich believes in, and think about, possibilities, the poor thinks otherwise. The rich has mastery over their thoughts. They do have negative thoughts running through their minds but they choose not to dwell on them.

Someone once said that you certainly can’t prevent a bird from flying over your head but you can prevent it from making its nest on your head. It’s impossible to prevent negative thoughts from running through your mind but you can deny them residence permit.

Are you aware that minimum (some) 2000 thoughts run through your two ears every hour?

If all these thoughts are positive, then there is no devil on earth. But since there is an enemies who wants to steal, kill, and destroy your life, he will throw negative thoughts at you. If he could win the battle mentally, then he could also win physically. Don’t forget about that.

Are you also aware that you can steer the direction of your thoughts by the Word of God?

As the enemy throws his thought bombs at you, you have power, through the Holy Spirit, to direct your those negative thoughts with the Word of God.

Maybe I can ask now that;

cause

What has/have been your most dominant thought(s) so far this year?

If they haven’t been good, then I suggest you do a quick turnaround because sooner or later your life will steer towards that direction.

As we move and dominate in Week 21, “whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].” (Philippians 4:8, AMP)

Be BOLD as a Lion (20sec read)

150929-004-4E4D59AF…the righteous are as bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1, AMP)

The Lion is a distinct animal in the forest and has been a symbol of strength and power. Myles Munroe once said that an army of sheep led by a lion will defeat an army of lion led by a sheep.

Yeah! you know what sheep does; runs away with little scare, bleats and its voice can hardly be heard from afar, waits to be fed and its comfortable to be kept in a pen. And the rest you can think of.

  • LION

It is the King of the Jungle. It sees the elephant and thinks of food. yeah! that’s what am talking about. It is strong, courageous, and powerful. It is fierce and you dare not joke with it. It carries itself like a royalty and mingle with other lions. The sheep and lion will never have same agenda because they have different perceptions about the world.

Are you living as a sheep or a LION?

The statement by Dr Munroe depicts the importance of leading/or living as a lion and its so important because that is how God made you.

I read where a lion’s roar can be heard up to 8km away. With this in mind, just imagine how terrified your enemy would be when you activate your natural instinct. The enemy will flee before you get there. News about you should scare some people, especially those who wish for you to be destroyed, humiliated, defeated, etc. But if you are going to behave like the sheep and run from pressure and be afraid of people, then your enemies are going to win. C’mon! ROAR to scare your enemies off today and know that there is nothing to be afraid of. Hallelujah!
