Sometimes we smile
Sometimes we cry
Sometimes we laugh
Sometimes we starve
Sometimes we have enough to eat
Sometimes we are hurt
Sometimes we are happy
Whatever it is, Jesus is Lord
He is a true friend who cares

Some of us are trapped in situations or habits they can’t control. They have been doing all they could to stop but their efforts seem not to be enough. Some have come to accept the lie that that is how God created them to be. The truth is everything about God is perfect. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. However, let us not forget that Satan’s number one Job is to steal. He is a liar and wants us to believe his lies. For this reason, some of us are held captives, or are slaves, in their own world. They justify the wrongs they do with the scriptures. Some steal, fornicate, gossip, lie, covet, masturbate, backbite, watch pornography, etc.
My question for the day is;
ARE YOU TRULY FREE?
Are you free from sin? Are you free from guilt? Are you truly free from all forms of addictions?
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up”.
We must get rid of every weight, and the sin that so easily beset us.
A person isn’t trapped because of Satan’s power, but he/she is trapped for his/her lack of knowledge in the Word of God. The Word of God says you can do all things through Christ, who gives you strength. In other words, you can stop or strip off every weight that slows you down, especially sin that so easily trips you up.
Friend, don’t be chained, handcuffed, imprisoned, and trapped in any sin or negative behavior because Jesus has set you free.
The darkest hour is just before dawn.
And
Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psalms 30:5 NLT)
Therefore
No matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it but you can do it and just keep working towards it and you’ll find the positive side of things. -Demi Lovato
