You Serve The Living God

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths.

(Psalm 135:15-17, NIV)

In the above text, there is a vivid description of the idols of the nations: They are made by human hands. They have eyes, mouth, ears, and nose yet there is no life in them. Interestingly, they have to be carried because they can’t walk. In V18, the scripture says those who trust in them are just like them. What a joke!

  • Now, let’s consider the God you serve:
    1. He has Eyes and can See
      • Psalm 34:15: The eyes of the Lord is upon the righteous
    2. He has Mouth and can Speak
      • Isaiah 40:5; And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
    3. He has Ears and can Hear
      • 1 Peter 3:12; …his ears are open to their prayers
    4. He has breath
      • Genesis 2:7; And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
    5. He can walk/move all over the World
      • Deuteronomy 23:14; For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.

Above all, In The Beginning, He Was.

The God you serve is Living and Active. He made you…as unique as you are to demonstrate His goodness to the nations. He sees you, hears you, speaks to you, breath his life upon you, and walks with you. Therefore take time to build the relationship He has with you and your life would be easier than expected. Your miracle is in your Trust in His Existence. God bless you

Special Message for 2014 Christmas

Hello Everyone,

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
The Lord has been good to us throughout the year. We read a lot, heard a lot, saw a lot, and felt a lot of almost everything. From the crash of Malaysia airliners to ISIS threats and executions, Firing of rockets to Israel by Hamas, Ebola virus, shooting of Michael Brown and others in US, Sanctions against Russia, abduction of over 200 girls by Boko haram, CEOs telling the World they are gays, etc. But through it all, God has kept us safe. Hallelujah!

As we are remembering the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, the Only Son of The Living God, let us pray that the peace and happiness we have in Him will be extended to the rest of the world, especially places where people (including Christians) are suffering from poverty, sicknesses and diseases, persecution, threat of death, etc.
Jesus came to set God’s children free from the works of the evil one and I trust that when we do our part by praying, His Spirit will go to those places and comfort the hearts of our brothers and sisters there and send them help in these times of need.

I pray that God shows Himself to you in a greater way in the remaining days of 2014 in Jesus’ Name. Friend, it is not too late to believe. He is more than able to help you achieve everything you set your mind on to do this year. Keep believing, Keep hoping, and Keep trusting in the Lord.

Thank y’all for your help, support, and prayer throughout the year. God bless us!

Merry Christmas!
