Re-Post: JESUS SAVES

I heard a story about two people; a Christian and an unbeliever (bearded man) who were travelling by air. It was six-hour journey so the Christian took the opportunity to share the message about God’s Kingdom. This guy tried to talk about how Jesus is protecting God’s children 24/7 But the bearded man didn’t believe so he asked if he (the Christian) could keep his mouth shut.

After about 45 minutes, the pilot announced that he had lost control of the plane and that it could crash any moment. When the Christian heard the news, he cried out loud; “JESUS SAVE ME!” Immediately, he disappeared from the plane. Fascinated by what he has heard and seen, the unbeliever opened his mouth in attempt to repeat what was said but “JESUS SHAVE ME!” came out. Immediately, his beard disappeared. The plane crashed and he died.

  • Lesson:
    • Jesus protects God’s children 24/7.
    • The scripture says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13, KJV)
    • In times of trouble call on Jesus and He will save you.

God bless you

On Call 24/7

Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, But the Lord rescues him from them all. (Psalm 34:19, AMP)

Aboard British Airways flight, at about 35000 feet, there was nothing really to do so as the gentleman who sat next to me. We decided to share jokes among other things for about two hours. He shared one which got me off my seat which I believe there are some lessons to learn from as God’s children.

  • The Joke

A Christian and unbeliever (bearded man) were travelling by air. It was six hours journey so the Christian took that opportunity to share the Gospel with this unbeliever. He shared a message on how Jesus is protecting God’s children 24/7.The unbeliever didn’t believe the message so he asked if the Christian could keep his mouth shut.

After about 45 minutes, the pilot announced that he had lost control of the plane and that it could crash any moment. Upon hearing the pilot, the Christian cried out loud; “JESUS SAVE ME!” Immediately, he disappeared from the plane.

Fascinated by what he has heard and seen, the unbeliever opened his mouth in attempt to repeat what he heard but “JESUS SHAVE ME!” came out. Immediately, his beard disappeared. The plane crashed and he died.”

Lesson:

  • Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. (Psalm 121:4, NLT)
  • “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].” (Proverbs 18:10, AMP)
  • Jesus protects you 24/7.
  • For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13, KJV)
  • In times of trouble call on Jesus and He will save you.

God bless you

My Little Story: Tell it all to Jesus

carryyourbooks_nivI listened to one preacher some years ago who preached about worry and anxiety. The message was powerful and I was totally renewed after listening to the one and half hours message. He shared a story in the message which I want to share with you today.

The story was about one little girl who believed that Jesus has power to do everything. She talked Jesus, walked Jesus, sang Jesus, and did every with Jesus on her mind. One day someone approached her and asked;

What would you do around midnight when everyone isn’t around and Satan comes to knock at your door?”

The little girl answered

“This is so simple. I will tell Jesus to answer the door for me”

Scripture:

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV)

Lesson:

This little girl understood the significance of casting all her cares on Jesus. Sadly enough we get frightened when Satan knocks at our doors. Some of us talk like unbelievers who live by their senses.

Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2, NLT)

dontworry_nivAs human beings, our needs will forever remain insatiable. The richest person has a need, so is the poorest person. No one has got it all. However, the good news for us is JESUS. When we ask in His name, we receive.

Be encouraged to give all your worries to Jesus. Tell him everything, including the big and small issues, in your life. He is the best friend you could ever have.

Jesus understands your situation better than you do, and He has infinite Power to supply them. Jesus saved Peter when he cried for help on the water and He wants to hear from you today. Give all your worries to Jesus.

God bless you!
