Your Life Will End Well

“I am the Alpha and the Omega [the Beginning and the End],” says the Lord God, “Who is [existing forever] and Who was [continually existing in the past] and Who is to come, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all].”

(Revelation 1:8, AMP)

Your life will end well. My reason? The One described in Revelation 1:8 is the architect of your life. He does all things and knows the end of all things. Fact is that every thing he does ends well.

Your temporal situation/environment shouldn’t define the end of your life. Think about Jacob: He left home at 40 years. His next 14 years would be something he had never experienced before: His wages were changed 10 times, he was deceived at honeymoon, among other things. That could have redefined his life but he persisted, believed in God, and there was divine intervention in the next 6 years. At 60 years, He was successful. 20 years wasn’t a joke considering how long year 2020 has been for most of us.

Today, I don’t know how your story is; whether blooming or scattering but I came to remind you that IT WILL END WELL. Keep Believing, Keep Hoping, and Keep Trusting in the Lord…For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.

Prayer: Father we thank you for today. The scripture says that anyone who hopes in you will never be put to shame. We trust in You and believe that everything you do ends well. We ask that at this moment, you change circumstances for our good and make all our plans succeed. We ask for speed in our processes so that what we thought had been delayed would swiftly come to pass. We demand massive transformation in our lives today Heavenly Father, please HELP US. In the end, all glory, honor, and power would return to You. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

Say This: My Life Will End Well.

LOOK FORWARD

20130118-153942.jpg

I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, (Philippians 3:13 NLT)

Everybody has dreams, desires, aspirations, goals, or targets to achieve in life. Life is a journey and God has promised to give us expected end. However, He does not say anything about how the journey is going to be. All he said was “I will be with you”. Sometimes, in the natural, when things do not happen as we intend them to be ( for instance; a sudden death of a loved one, unemployment, rejection, disappointment, failure to achieve a goal, instability in our countries, etc.), some of us blame God or other people and choose to stop progressing. But I believe these, among other things, happen to slow us down from reaching our goals or the successful end God has promised us. In negative situations, we have to stay in faith and keep moving forward. We should keep on taking one step ahead of the other.
At other times too, our past achievements hinder us from moving forward. We tend to believe that that achievement is God’s best for our lives. But, the best of everything lies ahead of us.

Your number one enemy that does not want you to reach your goal is your past. It could be your past successes or failures. It hinders you from moving forward. Past failures create fear and prevent people from looking forward. However, when you forget about the past and press on to reach what lies ahead, God works in ways you cannot understand. In the scripture, Jacob had a goal of marrying Rachael so he served for seven years. Unfortunately, he was given Leah instead of Rachael after his service. Jacob forgot about all he had done in the past seven years and served another seven years for the lady he loved. He did not see Leah as a setback, instead he saw her as a setup for Rachael.
Some of us have stopped pressing forward because things did not happen they way they planned. Jacob, I believe, was disappointed but it did not stop him from serving for another seven years. He did not say “what if Laban disappoints me again?” “life is not fair”, neither did he blame God for what had happened. He focused on the prize. Do not let issues of life shift your focus from the prize. Keep moving forward.

Paul said “I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” (Philippians 3:14 AMP)

Are you looking forward to what lies ahead?

Friend, your best days lie ahead of you. Nothing you have done in the past can be compared to the great things God has promised in your future so press on, and do not settle. If things did not work out the way you planned last week, last month, or last year, do not let them stop you from moving forward. Keep moving forward!

GET WISDOM

Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!
And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. (Proverbs 4:7 NLT)

One important thing I believe Christians should pray for is Wisdom. It is the greatest, and most precious asset you could ever have as a child of God. Wisdom is the tool we could you use to defeat satan. The scripture says God founded the world by wisdom, and looking back at history, the great men and women who lived before us had wisdom.
Jacob became very wealthy, with large flocks of sheep and goats, female and male servants, and many camels and donkeys then because God gave him wisdom.

The wiseman said “wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you long life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly. By wisdom the LORD founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens. The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame!” (Proverbs 3:14-19, 35 NLT).

Do you lack wisdom?

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (James 1:5 NLT)

For the LORD grants wisdom!
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6 NLT)

We are living in the last days, and for that matter we need to be wise in everything we do. It will be foolish to do things in our own ways. We need the wisdom of God to be efficient and productive. Solomon asked for wisdom and he got it. David said teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. (Psalm 90:12 KJV). Some people are living in debt because they lack wisdom. Others are sick, depressed, worried, afraid, discouraged because they do not have wisdom of God.

Friend, You need wisdom in your education. You need wisdom in your marriage. You need wisdom in your finances. You need wisdom in your business. You need wisdom in everything you do. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!

God bless you!
