Let’s do the Math: If 1000 years is like a day (24 hours) before God, then 70 years is like (70/1000)*24 hours=1.68 hours.

Less than 2 hours; That’s how short a 70 years life is. If you are 30 years now, then technically 40 years remaining which is equivalent to 0.96 hour. Less than an hour. How short is one hour?

When you put your days on earth in this perspective, you would understand how short your life is.

What can you do, starting now, to use your limited time effectively and efficiently? Our Prayer should be;

Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
    so that we may grow in wisdom.

(Psalm 90:12, NLT)

QUESTION: WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO?

 

ANSWER: PRAY

  • “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.” (Luke‬ ‭18:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
  • “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” (Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
  • “Never stop praying.” (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
