My Little Story: You don’t know too much

I heard a story about a graduate student who attended a seminar organised by the school. The speaker was a multi-millionaire in dollars and he was to teach them how to become a multi-millionaire. When the speaker started outlining the steps to be a millionaire, this young man raised his hand. He stood and said ” sir our respectable lecturer said…” The speaker intercepted and asked the young man “Is your respectable lecturer a multi-millionaire in dollars“. The young man answered “No sir“. The speaker said “very well then, would you now sit down for me to teach you how to be a multi-millionaire in dollars“. The young man said “thank you sir

Lesson:
So often we tend to know too much than God. We allow the things we hear and see in the world to make us believe that that is how things are meant to be.
God wants us to be very prosperous, and He has outlined all we need to do in His Word to be successful yet, like the young man, we have allowed satan to feed our thoughts with wrong information. It is time we sit up and say God we don’t know too much. Teach us what to do in order to be successful in all we do.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8 NIV)

God bless you.

Posted in BIBLE, THE END IS NEAR, TRUST IN THE LORD

God’s Word can be trusted

20130215-173932.jpgThe Words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psalms 12:6, KJV)

Psalms 119:140, Proverbs 30:5

The scripture says God isn’t a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should change his mind. God can be trusted to do what he has said concerning your life. God’s words are pure. They contain nothing worthless or useless. His word is flawless.

Solomon testified that “Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.” 1 (Kings 8:56, NIV)

The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24, NIV)

Do you know what God had said concerning your life (your situation, your health, your business, your family, your education, your needs, etc)?

If yes, then believe that he will do what he had said.

If no, study his word, and ask the Holy Spirit to show you what God has promised in his word concerning your life.

As you enjoy the benefits of the Lord, or are waiting to receive yours, don’t forget that these physical blessings are temporal. They shall pass away.

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:7)

God’s Word says this world is reserved for fire.

The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17)

A day is coming when Jesus will come for God’s children and anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life shall be thrown into the lake of fire.

Not one of God’s words has ever failed. His word is flawless. He will supply your needs according to His word, and He will also cast you into the lake of fire if your name is not found in the book of life. Therefore live right as you enjoy physical and spiritual blessings.
