Already Paid

God paid a great price for you. So use your body to honor God.

(1 Corinthians 6:20, CEV)

Scenario:
You went to the Supermarket to get some thing items; you filled your basket and joined the queue to make payment. When it got to your turn, as the staff scanned your items, you realized that you had exceeded your budget so you tried to remove some of the items but the staff told you to leave them. After scanning, he/she told you that a billionaire had made deposit, enough to cover for the bill of every customer as long as the shop remains. The staff continued that the billionaire’s intention is that if there is a need, people can come in to pick or receive what they want.

Message:
God has already paid the price/cost for your life. Everything you would ever need in this world has already been paid for and there is enough provision for you. If He said that Ask and it shall be given, without placing any restriction, then you can be sure that whatever means whatever.

A lot of times believers are afraid to go to God when they sin. They find it more convenient to ask God for their physical needs than to ask for their spiritual needs. But keep in mind that the God who gives also forgives. That was why Jesus did the two during His days on earth. Your needs have already been paid for. Gather confidence as God’s child and approach Him, knowing that the provisions were made before you were born. Like the supermarket scenario, the billionaire made the deposit before you went into the shop.

In this year, if there are areas in your life where you are struggling and sometimes feel shy to talk about it. Some behaviors are crippling you down and/or holding you hostage, to the point that you feel guilty to (even) pray. Know that God has paid for the remedy. What you need to do is to make a 180 degrees turn, repent, and turn to God. Be determined to make progress in the right direction. Like the little child who is determined to walk, although you will may stumble and/or fall many times, you will surely stand firm and walk straight. God has paid the price.

You are not alone in this struggle. Every person you see has got something he/she is working on, and that includes your spiritual leader(s). No one has reached the point of perfection yet so keep moving forward. Jesus Christ has laid a strong foundation for you to build on. That is, to carry out the purpose for which you were born. When he returns, He is going to judge you on what you did with what He did.
All you need to live Free on earth and to make it to Heaven has already been paid for so make use of them whiles there is time. God bless you.

Repost: DAY 2 – WHY DID JESUS COME TO DIE?

And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

(1 John 3:5, 8 NLT)

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come. ” (Luke 4:18, 19 NLT)

Jesus brought Good news to the poor, healing to the sick, hope to the hopeless, and faith to the faithless. He delivered those who were possessed by demons. He raised the death. And He gave us Power over all the powers of the enemy. Jesus came to die on the cross to set us free from the bondage of the devil.

Satan has no power over you again because God has bought you at a Price. You are saved, healed, empowered, equipped, and have been elevated in Jesus’ Name.

THE BIG SACRIFICE

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

(John 3:16, NLT)

In order to draw man to Himself, God gave Jesus Christ. He was the Big Sacrifice to redeem us and to set us apart.

Jesus did not look at His status but gave up all. With such humility, God elevated Him to the Highest place of Authority.

You should think about things in the same way that Christ Jesus thought: Christ had the same nature as God. He was completely equal with God.
But he did not try to keep hold of that. Instead, he chose to leave heaven.
He took for himself the nature of a slave. He became like a human.
And when he lived as a man, he made himself even less important.
He obeyed God completely, so that he died. He even died on a cross!
Because of that, God then raised Jesus Christ to the most important place.
God gave him the name that is greater than every other name. As a result, when people hear Jesus’ name, they must worship him. Everyone will have to go down on their knees in front of him.
That includes everything that is in heaven,
everything on the earth and everything under the earth. Everyone will have to agree that Jesus Christ is Lord. When they say that aloud, they will show that God the Father is very great

Jesus knew the Cost yet He was determined to Carry the Cross so that you and I can sing Amazing Grace. He looked into the future with Love and Joy as he took one step ahead of the other into His death. He saw You and I spending eternity with Him. He loved us enough to go through the humiliation, pain, rejection, etc.

Today, we talk about Jesus being the big sacrifice but let me ask you, what sacrifice have you made for this Jesus? How are you living your life?

As we run, we must always look towards Jesus. He is the one who trusted God completely. Our faith starts with him, and he will help us to trust God all the way to the end. Jesus accepted punishment on the cross. He chose to receive much pain. He did not think about being ashamed to die like that. He knew that God had prepared something very good for him that would make him happy. Now he has sat down at the right side of God to rule with him in heaven.

(Hebrews 12: 2, EASY)

Your Sacrifice is your symbol of Humility and God will exalt you for whatever you (have) give(n) up for Him.

My Christian friends, God has been very kind to us. Because of that, I really want you to serve God with your whole life. Offer your bodies to him like a sacrifice that continues to live. Serve him with everything that you have and that will please him. That is the true way to worship God

(Romans 12:1, EASY)
