Search Your Heart

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33, NLT)

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:4, NLT)

cropped-our-god-is-love.jpgThe Lord desires that you prosper and live in good health. As a result, he has put in place everything you will need to be successful in this life, and to spend eternity with Him. In Romans 8:32 (NLT), we are told that “since he did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?”

Notice a common word in Matthew 6:33 and Romans 8:32; EverythingThere is no restriction or limit as to what God wants you to ask from Him. Jesus made it simpler in Matthew 7:7, a popular scripture, when He said “Ask, and it shall be given you” (KJV) and In Philippians 4:6, the Apostle said “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” In effect, don’t put restriction on the things you need in this life because after all, your Father in heaven is ready to give you everything you need in order to live as a king or a queen. The problem is that “You have never asked for anything in this way before. But ask in my name, and you will receive. And you will have the fullest joy possible” (John 16:24, ERV)

I believe you are excited about the truth in God’s word but hold on for a minute because there is something you have to do as a child of God; Make His business your business. That is You have to take delight in Him. The Easy-to-read version translates Psalm 37:4 in a remarkable way; “Enjoy serving the Lord, and he will give you whatever you ask for“. One thing you should note is that; you can’t enjoy, or have satisfaction from, doing something you don’t Love. Frankly, genuine satisfaction comes from doing what you love to do, which will make it right to say that you can’t Enjoy serving the Lord if you don’t genuinely love Him with all your heart.

In the same way, you can’t seek his Kingdom and live righteously if you don’t love Him because you will give up when weariness sets in. Thus, your strong affection for God will push you to want to serve him and to be interested in His Kingdom business.

I want you to search your heart now and determine the depth of your LOVE for Him. See, God gave his BEST, Jesus Christ, to show His love for you. So what are you willing to give to show your love for Him? A point to consider is Jesus acknowledged two people because of their giving; one is Mary Magdalene (who broke her expensive oil) and the widow (who gave all she had). Below are few questions to consider

  • Has He got the best place in your heart, time management, finances, business, relationship with people, family, and/or daily activities?
  • Do you put Him on top of your schedule or he is right below the long list?
  • oh, how many times do you talk to him in a day?
  • Is there anything that takes more of your time, money, or resources more than Him and/or His Kingdom business?
  • How many hours or minutes in 24 hours do you allocate for him and/or His Kingdom business?

Search your heart today to know if you “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind” Luke 10:27

God loves you so much that He demonstrated by giving His BEST for you. Do you love him as much as he does? Search your heart and give Him the Best of you

Your Position in Christ (2 min read)

And the Lord has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.  (Deuteronomy 28:18, NIV)

It was of His own will that He gave us birth [as His children] by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits of His creatures [a prime example of what He created to be set apart to Himself—sanctified, made holy for His divine purposes]. (James 1:18, AMP)

His KingdomUnderstanding who you are is keen to winning the battle against Satan and his demons. The scripture says you were made for God’s divine purpose which means that you are not ordinary. You are God’s prized possession, His masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus so you can do the good things he planned for you long ago (which is his divine purpose).

In Ephesians 2: 6, we are told that God raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. And one may ask;

  • Where is Christ seated?

Ephesians 1:20-21 says that the mighty power of God raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.

  • Where is your present position?

You are seated with Christ in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms, far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else not only in this world but also in the world to come.

  • Satan’s Agenda

Your enemy’s agenda is to keep you from knowing the truth about your identity. But thank God that Jesus said you will know the Truth and  the Truth will set you free. (John 8:32, NLT)

  • Going Forward

When Satan, through his demons and/or agents, tries to remind you of your past and/or the things you have done wrong in your yesteryears, you have to remind him of your position in Christ Jesus, not forgetting to add his (Satan) present position (which is under your feet) and his future (eternal destruction in the lake of fire).

I AM BACK (1 min read)

Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12, AMPC)

Hello Everyone,

20130215-173932.jpgI have been away for couple of weeks and I thank God that I am back with More Power and More Glory. I read from somewhere this morning that “The enemies of the Lord can do their best, but the gates of hell will not prevail against His church (Matt. 16:18)“. In Christ we are more than conquerors in Jesus’ Name.

The Lord said in Jeremiah 1:12 that He is alert and active, watching over His Word to perform it. This means that every truth or revelation you have found in His Word is bound to come to pass.

If God has said it, then He will do it.

As we head to the end of 2017, let us hold firmly the word of truth, knowing that God is able to protect us and provide for us. It might take upto 10 minutes for the police or those charged with our safety to come to our rescue but God is always with us. His Word says that “For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go” Psalm 91:11. God will keep you safe just as He has promised in His Word.
