YOUR LIMITATIONS ARE UNREAL 2

Romans 12: 2 says “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” A person is not different from his dominant thoughts. That is why it is very important to renew the mind daily with God’s Word. Human beings are filled with infinite potentials. God created us in His image. The scripture talks about how man was able to use his gifts to build a tower that made God came down to see what he was doing. I believe every man can do what he sets his mind to do. However, Satan doesn’t want that to happen. Therefore, he paints pictures on our minds, and makes them look so real that when we look around us, we tend to believe those lies.

Friends, my message today is Your limitations are unreal. Everything you see as an obstacle is not real so move on, and don’t quit.

When Moses and God’s children came to the red sea, God told them to go forward. The sea was a limitation. Again, when Joshua got to Jordan, God told him to move forward. Jordan River was a limitation. The Wall of Jericho was another limitation. Let us talk about David and Goliath, Elijah and Four hundred prophets of Baal, Elijah and Elisha before Jordan River. Daniel knew he could be thrown into the Lion’s den. The den was a limitation. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace; it was a limitation. These people saw what looked real before them but when they stood in faith, and believed in their God, they found out later that those limitations were unreal. They moved forward, and nothing could stop them. What do you think is your limitation? God has placed in you all you would need to be what He created you to be. Everything you would need is within reach.

Today let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. If you think you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, you can. On the other hand, If you think you can’t because satan says so, you can’t.

Don’t give up because of the pressure. Each one of us has got his/her life to live. By the way don’t forget God created us differently but in His image. Both Moses and Joshua came before water but God did something different in each case. He is God. Don’t make mistake by comparing yourself with people. Don’t say because they use path A, you must also use path A. When you do that you would be faced with so many limitations, and you may start believing satan’s lies. I have faced so many limitations in life but when I got to them, I realised they were not real.

Be encouraged that you can achieve what you have set your mind to achieve because Christ is your strength.

ONE ACT OF KINDNESS

When hope is lost, I believe one act of kindness could turn things around.

Thank You Father for Your gift of life today, and it is my prayer that You open our eyes so that we do not miss the hour of Your visitation. Amen!

I want to talk about Peter today. Luke chapter 5 tells a story about Peter, his companions, and Jesus. From the story, Peter had worked for the whole night and he could not catch anything. He thought it was all over and I believe he probably might have said “today is a bad day, nothing in the net. Let me wash me wash these net and go home”. In the natural, there was no hope. However, something happened; a man showed up and asked for a favour. He helped this Man. Peter did not for anything but the Man said “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch”. I would have said the same thing as Peter did and even added more. My version would have been; “hey man, do you know what you are talking about, and by the way, what experience do you have in fishing. I had worked all night. It is time for me to go home. Thanks but no thanks”.

Logically, it would be unwise to do what the Man asked Peter to do but Peter obeyed and the response was marvellous. Things turned around for good. He regained his hope and even called for help.

Friends, life may throw so many challenges at us. You might have tried so many things but have failed to produce a “single fish”. I could say you are discouraged because you do not see any hope in what you are doing. It could be your job, relationship, family, etc. I pray you do not let that situation hinder you from doing good to people. Abraham helped some strangers, who happened to be angels. And Peter helped a man, who happened to be the Son of God. Some years ago, I helped a woman. I gave her money for transport. Something strange happened; after I had given her the money, I turned after some seconds and she was nowhere to be found.  Friends, I ran because I thought I had seen a ghost. Later, I heard a voice telling me she was an angel. The good news was I received something I had been praying for so long through miraculous way.

I want to encourage you that do not let your situation hinder you from helping people because ONE ACT OF KINDNESS could turn things around for your good.

I will close with what Paul said in Hebrews 13:2;

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!

LOSERS QUIT

I will liken the life we live to the computer game. The manufacturer ensures everything about the game is done before he sends it to the market. Anytime a person plays the game and discovers something new, to him/her, it is an achievement but the programmer/manufacturer knows already. When I was a kid, the game I liked to play was Mario; it was a very challenging game for me. Once you find a game interesting, you desire to play to the end. Sometimes you don’t quit playing when there is a “game over”. I remember how I played a level of a game for about 15 times before I could proceed to the next level. You become a loser when you QUIT. This is how, I believe, life is all about.

God, the manufacturer of your life, completed everything about you before you were born. He deposited all you would ever need in Jesus. You are not here by an accident. There is a purpose. Your life has been planned. The future you can’t see is God’s past. God laughs (Psalms 2:4) when we make certain stupid decisions.

He is the manufacturer. He understands the product more than anyone else. When you don’t understand anything about a product, you ask the producer via email or by calling the customer care number.  Our customer care line is Jeremiah 33:3. If things are so hard that you don’t understand anything about your life, ask the manufacturer in prayer and in faith and He will show you what to do. Every game has a guidebook that is why God gave us ONE; THE BIBLE.  If you want updates like any game, listen to more of His word.

He doesn’t want you to worry about His product – your life.  Instead by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, He wants you to make your request known. It’s like calling Sony that you have a problem with your PS, and adding “thank you” before saying goodbye. Complaining about the product would not give you solution to the problem so I always encourage people to pray instead of complaining about the 1001 things they don’t understand about their lives.

One thing I have realized about most of the games, if not all, is that the end of each level is challenging. You need to pass the test before you could proceed to the next level. If you fail, you would never see the good things about the next level. Most people have stayed at a level for so long because at the start of the level, life was full of fun as everything was easy. However, when things became a bit tougher they slowed down. That is when they didn’t get the promotions, jobs, contracts, breakthrough, healings, etc. they needed, they gave up.

Don’t quit because there has been so many “GAME OVER” in your life. Keep on trying because your next level is far better than where you are now. Know that before a door closes, God would open a better one somewhere for you, and all you would need to do is to SEEK. Matthew 7 says KEEP SEEKING, AND YOU SHALL FIND.

I will advise you take time to understand the rules of the game. Take time to read the manual (BIBLE), ASK the manufacturer daily about the things you don’t understand about Life. His customer care services can’t be compared. He is second to none.

God is watching over you. He knows your needs and He cares about your life. He didn’t spare His son, but gave him up for us all. Tell me, what can’t He give you?
