HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Today is mother’s day. It is a lovely day for women who stood firm for 9 months and never thought of killing innocent souls. I bless you all in Jesus’ Name. Nothing can be compared to a mother’s love.

I see today because my mother sacrificed a lot for me. She did what most people couldn’t have done for their babies. I thank God that he never ceases blessing my mother. I am so proud of her.

As most of us are happy sending cards, gifts, or even making phone calls to our mothers, some of us see today as a day of sorrow. They lost their mum. They would have loved to see them, hug them, or probably spend some time with them but….I pray God, my Father in Heaven, strengthens your heart today. He knows best.

Some women would have loved to see their children wishing them “Happy Mother’s day”. Today, they may be crying because they have no child. I pray God turns your sorrows to Joy next year in Jesus’ Name. His Word says;

  1. 1.       Deuteronomy 7:14 English Standard Version (ESV)

14 You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

  1. 2.       Exodus 23:26 New Living Translation (NLT)

26 There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.

  1. 3.       Psalm 113:9 New Living Translation (NLT)

9 He gives the childless woman a family,
making her a happy mother. Praise the Lord!

You may not have a child today but I trust that next year, your story would change.

I bless all mothers and I pray they live to see their children’s children.

WE WALK BY FAITH

FaithSometimes when we find ourselves in certain situations, we think or ask questions like; “where is God? does God love me? Why am I in this mess? Etc.” God promised in His word that

Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Isaiah 43

Dear friend, God has not left you. He loves you, and He knows you are in that mess. He wants you to use what you have; Your Faith. Jesus slept in the midst of storm because He knew God was with them, and His Faith calmed the storm.

God is bigger than your problems and He has all your days in the palm of His hands.

In Isaiah 59, the scripture says

Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you,
nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.
It’s your sins that have cut you off from God.
Because of your sins, he has turned away
and will not listen anymore

That was in the Old Testament, before Jesus came. Now the story has changed as Jesus has bridged the gap sin created between us and God. In the New Testament, the problem is not sin. It is our Faith. Without Faith, it is impossible to please Him. Most of us doubt God power to perform. We believe more in our strength and what we have, we believe in what other people can do for us than His infinite power to perform in our lives. We doubt what He can do. James said that such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. We need Faith.

Faith believes in advance what only make sense in reverse. We walk by faith. You do not need to see money before you believe that you are rich. You do not need doctor’s report because your Father is the Number One Physician. You are healed. Start exercising your faith. You do not need the results before you know you have passed the test. God has blessed you already. And you need faith to tap it from the spiritual realm to the physical realm. God bless you

I will close with this:

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. Hebrews 11 NLT
