The Father’s Love

Although some people have weird perceptions about fathers, there is undeniable fact that responsible fathers are awesome. The father’s love is one of a kind; one that is always not expressed in words but through deeds.

Here are 3 ways a Father shows Love:

  • He Provides Leadership

The father provides leadership for his family. He is the head and responsible for steering the affairs of his home. This sometimes paints negative image for him as his children normally see this as restrictive measures to deny them of their instant pleasures. When a father fails in this role, often mothers step in to make things right for the children.

  • He Provides Resources

The father’s love is seen in the provision of resources to meet the needs of his family. The hurting moments for him are when he sees a need but he is unable to provide. It kills his pride. That’s why he wants to work hard to provide for today and save for tomorrow or rainy day.

  • He Provides Protection

The Father protects his family. He provides mechanisms that protect his family from all harm. Sometimes he struggles to make a name that scares bad people from touching his family and property(ies). His unspoken words of love is seen in what he does when someone touches his family. His heart beats as he pulls all he has to defend what he cherishes most, family.

Fathers are special so let us appreciate the Fathers in our lives. God Bless You Fathers. Happy Fathers’ Day

Dependable God

God is our protection and source of strength. He is always ready to help us in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1, ERV)

In the face of trouble, God is your protection and source of strength. He is always ready to help. Let’s consider how human help contrast God’s help so that we build our Faith on whichever is reliable:

  • Humans Help
    • Depending on your country of residence, it takes up-to 10 minutes or more for emergency services to attend to you.
    • The fastest, maybe 5 minutes.
    • Often humans help is limited to their knowledge about your situation and their resources…including time.
    • Humans disappoint. Therefore don’t expect too much regardless of their promise(s).
    • Have you heard “I wish I could come around, or do this and that for you, BUT I’m unable because of…” before?
    • Humans can’t be 100% loyal
    • …, including any other you can think of.
  • God’s Help
    • He is Dependable
      • One simple PROVE;
        • He hasn’t given up on you yet. Despite all your (uncountable) disobedience, YOU ARE ALIVE today; You can breath, see, and read this post. Many would have loved to see this day but here you are, ALIVE and STRONG.
      • This is enough reason to prove that He is READY to HELP you.
      • “He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32, AMP)
      • Wouldn’t you rather cast all your cares on Him?
    • He is also Faithful.
      • He watches over His word to perform – Jeremiah 1:12.
      • The Lord says, “Can a woman forget her baby? Can she forget the child who came from her body? Even if she can forget her children, I cannot forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15, ERV Emphasis added)
  • Conclusion:
    • It’s obvious to us, who are God’s children, that God can be trusted to keep His Word concerning our lives and well-being.
    • Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. (Hebrews 4:16, AMP Emphasis added)
