Is There A Need In Your Life?

Our God is a need-meeter. In a new day, we see the sun works, the earth revolves, enough oxygen for every Creature, water reaches us, etc. When Apostle Paul had an opportunity to testify about God in Acts 17:25, he said that God “…himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.” God will satisfy every need in your life.

  • The Reality I Face:

I have needs. No one has it all. Here is what I do: I constantly trust God to supply them.
Do I get the supply? Well! there were many things I prayed for a decade ago and when I look back now, I see them answered. Although they didn’t happen at the pace I thought they would, I could still testify that God made them possible.

This gives me the assurance that God has answers for present day needs. I tell folks that every new day brings me a renewed hope that whatever I am trusting God for is closer than it was yesterday. I choose to remain hopeful because I have no other source.

  • Trust in God:

So if you have a need, keep trusting God that someway somehow, possibly today, what you have long waited for will come to pass. One thing I would strongly counsel is that: Let God Be God.
Don’t try to figure out how He is going to make things happen because it adds to the stress and frustration that come with waiting. Know that God is Faithful and He will do it for you. He will graciously meet your every need in Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Power Thought: Week 17

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” (Mark 10:27, NLT)

telescope_nivWe are gradually sailing through 2018 with great power and glory. This is week 17 and through the eyes of Faith, I can clearly see that God is up-to some bigger, better, and greater.

dontworry_nivIn Mark 10:27, Jesus told His disciples that somethings are impossible with man but not with God. Therefore as we have started this week, there may be some issues or situations that look impossible in the natural, probably because of experts’ reports etc But we can be assured that God has got our back. He will show us the Way. The Miracle will happen. The Healing is a settled fact. Everything is possible with God.

Keep believing. Have a fruitful week, a week of possibilities. Amen

Power Thought: Week 12

Simon replied, “Master, we worked hard all night [to the point of exhaustion] and caught nothing [in our nets], but at Your word I will [do as you say and] lower the nets [again].” (Luke 5:5, AMP)

imageWeek by week the Lord is gradually ushering our steps onto a higher ground. Let’s not forget that on Christ the Solid Rock we stand, and Nothing shall be impossible if we keep moving forward…always moving one step ahead of the other.

In Luke 5, Peter and his colleagues had worked hard all night and caught nothing. In the natural, it was game over. Their own strength, skills, abilities, expertise, knowledge, etc could not produce desired result. When they thought it was over, that was where Jesus showed up. This reechoes what someone said that Faith begins where ability ends.

This is a new week. Probably things didn’t go as planned last week, It is easy to give up and think that “well, this is just one of the days…I win some, and lose some”. It doesn’t require faith to give up because decision to give up often depend on physical evidence(s). But NOTE that we walk by Faith not by sight.

Behold a new dawn has come and Jesus wants you to lower your nets again. This time don’t rely on your capability (ies) and  do as the Lord, through the Holy Spirit says. Get up and do it again.

This is a new week for a new beginning therefore forget about what didn’t work in the past and focus on Jesus and His Word. Remember, Step by step, week by week, the Lord is guiding/leading you to a higher ground.

God bless you and have a faith-field week.
