“…but one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25, AMP)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah! He works miracles today as He did some years ago. As we begin this week, I want you to believe that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. And I believe that God will do the unimaginable in your life.
Just like the blind man in John 9, your story and testimony is going to blow people’s mind. Take the limit off of God and see Him work in your life this week. He will do it in Jesus’ Name.
“Because of your little faith,” Jesus told them. “For if you had faith even as small as a tiny mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would go far away. Nothing would be impossible (Matthew 17:20, TLB)
Hello Everyone,
Its so exciting to talk about Faith because Faith is the currency we trade with as believers. Remember that God has already blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
Note:God is not wanting to bless you. He has already blessed you because you belong to Jesus Christ. What you need to do is to use Your Faith to bring what is in the spiritual to the physical.
God desires that you live healthy, prosperous, victorious, and most importantly live in the world of possibilities.
I want to share 3 steps you can take to receive your miracle from the story of woman with the issue of blood:
“For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole” (Matthew 9:21, KJV)
Inner Conviction
“She said within herself, If I may….”. She had inner conviction that If only she could touch Jesus’ garment, she shall be free. She wasn’t interested in Jesus touching her to be healed because there were many people around which would make it almost impossible. So she believed that a touch on Jesus’ garment was enough to solve her problem. Earlier, she had spent all she had but her situation couldn’t get any better for twelve years. I don’t know what your situation is or has been, and for how long you have had to endure, hoping that one day you will receive your miracle.
The first step is to have inner conviction that God, through Jesus Christ, can provide solution to your problem.
Here is the point, before you go to hospital to see your GP or doctor, you believe that he/she can provide solution to your ailment. You can use same believe (one you have in your GP, dentist, etc…channel it toward God) to tap into the spiritual to get the miracle you seek. If you can Believe, you will receive your Miracle.
Do what you Can: The Ordinary
She did not stay back after her thought. She knew that if she was going to get well, she’s got to act on what she believes would work. In effect, she didn’t allow the crowd to be a hindrance to her miracle. She pressed through till she did what she had thought within herself.
A lot of times, we talk about faith and how we want God to bless us. Yet we remain passive. If you believe that a prayer from your Pastor or Friend will produce the result, why not pick phone instantly to call him/her? If watching a televised program of a man of God is what you believe will provide the answer, just stretch your hands for the TV remote. If you believe walking to the employer’s office would grant your desired job, just dress up and walk in without any fear. You’ve got to be active, and not passive.
Sometimes the little thing(s) we ignore is/are the major ingredient(s) to receiving our miracles
When the woman had that thought, she made an immediate move; she acted without consulting others to see how feasible that would be. Always remember that Human mind is limited to the amount or level of information it has so when it comes to what it can’t comprehend, it gives a No answer.
Therefore instead of consulting people, pray to God for strength to press on. Don’t allow the crowd to stop you from moving forward.
Note:There would always be some sort of limitation(s) to keep you from moving forward; the limitation might be
the amount of funds you have for a project
the type of certificate you have
what your doctor has said about you
what “an expert” has said about your situation
the information you have about the situation
intimidation from other people, etc.
But regardless of the giant or object(s) that stand(s) between you and Jesus, be encouraged to PRESS ON.
Your miracle is just One Step of Faith away
Share your Testimony
“…she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.” (Luke 8:47, KJV)
Sharing your testimony is a way of making God’s miraculous power known to the world
It affirms the victory God has granted you through Jesus Christ and by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Words are powerful so when you hear yourself talk about what God has done in your life before others, the joy, the praise, and the glory that goes to God pave way for the supernatural to happen.
I have often received miracles after testifying what I felt in my spirit. Whatever happens afterwards, I can’t explain but what I do notice is that my body and/or the situation responds to the spirit.
Conclusion:
The same power that healed the woman with the issue of blood is available to anyone who believes, act in Faith, and declares the goodness of God.
It was Monday morning and I had finished praying, bathing, and drinking my usual cup of tea. I didn’t have money except for my transportation fare to work so before I left the room, I said the Lord’s Prayer. The emphasis was on “Give us today our daily bread” and in order to personal about it, I said “Give me today my daily bread“. I had always believed that there is Power in that short line therefore I trusted that God will someway somehow send me money before the day ends. I left my room with hope that miracle would happen, which was the only option I had anyway.
I jumped on public transport, greeted the person next to me, and looked outside without looking at who it was that sat next to me. About some five minutes later, the person who sat next to me tabbed my shoulder and asked how I was doing. It was then that I realised he was someone I knew from my former workplace. I knew that face but I wasn’t closed to him. This guy asked if I could hold his bag for him which I did. He took some money from his pocked and counted ten notes. He told me to hold the money for him and took his bag. I thought he was going take it back but he said nothing for the next 10 minutes. After a while, I told him to take his money as I was going to get down at the next stop but for strange reasons I don’t know, he told me to keep it. I was shocked because the amount was close to someone’s monthly salary. I thanked him and got off at the next stop. I was amazed and kept thinking about how someone, who isn’t my friend, could just dash me that amount on Monday morning. As I was pondering on it, I heard a voice that “this is the answer to your prayer”. “That was quick” I said and started giving thanks for such a quick response. God gave me money through a person I least expected.
Lessons:
God has promised in His Word that He will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus but the problem is that we try to convince God to work in our way or according to how we perceive things to go. When I prayed that morning, I thought God was going to use someone like my boss or closed pal to bless me. I was hoping God would use a known person to grant me the money I needed for the day/week But He did it His way within the shortest possible time. It happened within 30 minutes after I had prayed. The scripture says that “I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19, NLT). God has a way where we think there is no way and His ways are higher than our ways.
God has already made provisions for your needs. He knows when you need it and He knows how he would supply that need. The “How” isn’t your job because you will never understand how he works. Don’t try to convince God to do things your way as he knows the right path. In my story, there were many buses but how I got on that one to meet that fellow still baffles me. I could have been on any other bus but He directed my path to where my blessings were. God had already prepared his (that fellow’s) heart to bless me on that faithful day. I don’t know what your need is right now but I do know that “…whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].” (Mark 11:24, AMP). God will answer your request(s) in ways you have never imagined before in Jesus’ Name. Amen
