WHAT DO YOU CALL WASTE?

Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard. She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head.
Some of those at the table were indignant. “Why waste such expensive perfume?” they asked. “It could have been sold for a year’s wages and the money given to the poor!” So they scolded her harshly. (Mark 14:3-5 NLT)

Mary poured her expensive perfume over Jesus’ head according to Mark. That was all I knew as a child in the Sunday school. I thank God for giving this opportunity to share with you the knowledge I have acquired as I listened to messages from other preachers, and His wisdom.

My question for the day is:

What do you call waste?

Is it the car you have given to support God’s work or the car you have in your garage?

Is it the new cloth you have given to that poor fellow or the one you have kept for the future?

Is it the money you have donated to help widows and orphans or the amount you amount you are reserving for the fear of tomorrow?

Is it the joy you bring to people’s home with your gifts, talent, etc or your selfish lifestyle?

What do you call waste?

Many Christians today act like what those guys did. They talk when someone gives something, they think is expensive, to support God’s work. Mary gave a designer perfume. The Bible says it was expensive. She didn’t give it to Jesus but broke it and pour it over Head. she never asked if she could used it on Him because I believe people would have discouraged her. You don’t need people’ views before you do something for God. This is a lesson for us today. Mary’s name is mentioned wherever the Gospel of our Lord Jesus is preached because of what she did. Don’t let people discourage you of the things you want to do for the Lord. Could it be your talent, money, property, etc? I would encourage you to go ahead with that decision to give.

Some of us could buy a gadgets for thousands of Dollars or Pounds but see the hundreds they give as something of great value. Consider the widow’s mite. That widow gave all she had and that caught Jesus’ attention. What do you have today? What percentage do you want to give to the Master? By the way, before you think about the percentage, consider the cost of the breath you take, the cost of you strength, and the cost of your salvation. Don’t call what is meant for God a waste. It’s not waste of money, or any other thing you want to give to God.

I believe we are going to repent and start giving our best clothes to the needy, best cars to support God’s work, work hard in God’s house, seek first His Kingdom, etc.
God gave His only son, Abraham almost sacrificed his only son, Moses chose to suffer with God’s children, others gave up all to follow Jesus. What do you have to give? It is never a waste. Your reward would be great on earth, and in Heaven.

A TOUCH OF GOD’S FAVOR

20And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment;  21For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health. Matthew 9:20-21.

In our daily lives, we face challenges; some huge, some small. We struggle to fix things our own ways. We prefer to carry our heavy burdens alone. That fact is Jesus cares. Thus the scripture says “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” After all these years of struggling with that addiction, suffering, broken heart, rejection, abuse, failure, other negative situations, am here to encourage you today to Cast them all on Jesus. All you need is just a touch of God’s Favor.

Favor is deceitful. Favor ain’t fair. God’s Favor will make things go your way when you don’t deserve them. It will do stuff the way you want them to be. You may not understand but people will break rules for you. A touch of God’s favor – all your struggles, pains, fears, sorrows will disappear.

Esther was accepted because of the Favor of God. Samuel was loved because of God’s Favor. David had the Favor of God. Joseph had that too. Noah, Gideon, Moses, Mary, Jesus, etc. all had the Favor of God. Am not so surprised they could do supernatural things on earth. You have the Favor of God. I heard the story of Bishop T.D Jakes; he had a touch of God’s Favor and that made him who he is today.

When you have a touch of God’s favor, you will produce amazing results. Where others failed to win, you will go there, do the same thing, and you will win. Where others are rejected, you will be accepted. Friends, Families, Strangers will always be confused about your life. They will cease to understand your life because of the extraordinary things you will do.

Be encouraged today that with a touch of His Favor, your life will turn around.

The LORD gave special strength to Elijah. He tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab‘s chariot all the way to the entrance of Jezreel.

Today, I pray God gives you special Strength to do things you couldn’t do before. I pray he impacts Speed upon your life. I believe the Power of God, the Mercy of God, and the Favor of God will be your portion. The Holy Spirit will order your steps. I call an end to every negative situation in Jesus’ Name! May you begin to experience supernatural victories, supernatural miracles, signs, and wonders in the mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.

My Prayer for you

I release the Power of God upon your life. I call all things that look impossible in your life to be Possible in the Name of Jesus! Today, may you begin to experience a touch of God’s Favor in an extraordinary way; Abba Father, All things are Possible with you; I thank You for hearing me, and I call all things done in the life of this lovely person reading this Note in Jesus Name. Amen.

YOU ARE A PROPHECY

Prophecy is a statement that says what is going to happen in the future, especially one which is based on what you believe about a particular matter rather than existing fact. (Cambridge International dictionary of English) Webster defines it as a statement that something will happen in the future.

GOD’S PLANS FOR YOU

Prophecy is to tell the future what God has already done. Here is the trick, when God speaks His word, they are called Prophecy. Every Word of God is Prophecy. When God speaks, it is because He has already thought about it. And when He thinks, then He has already done it. This is what I mean when God thinks about something; it is done in the spirit realm. And when He speaks, it is done physically. When He said “LIGHT” in the beginning of creation, light came. When He thought about Jesus as a savior, it was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, and others about years before Gabriel came to announce to Mary. The same applies to you; God thought about you years before you were born. When He thought about you, you became a spirit being, and when He spoke, you came to the womb, which means that everything about your days on earth has all been planned already. He said to Jeremiah (and that refers to you too) that “I know the plans (thoughts) I have for you; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Notice He never said I am thinking about what to do for you, or let see what I can do with your life. He said “I KNOW”. He had these plans for you before you came to the womb. You are a PROPHECY.

  YOUR FUTURE IS GOD’S PAST

A prophecy is God’s exposure of His past which is your future. When Gabriel appeared to Mary, everything He said to Mary was God’s past. God had thought about it years but to Mary it was for the future. The scripture talks about how God has all our days in the palm of His hands. Your future is God’s past. God knew you before you were born. He ordained you and equipped you with all you would ever need to succeed. Don’t worry about anything because nothing can stop a prophecy. Quit worrying about what you think you can’t do (Gideon), what you don’t have (Elisha and his servant), who did you wrong (Joseph), or who is even planning to do you wrong (Esther and Mordecai) because nothing can stop a prophecy. Joseph’s brothers thought selling him would end his dreams. Hardly did they know that they were pushing him to his divine destination. Your enemies can help you achieve your dreams more than your friends. The future you are seeking and struggling for today is God’s past. He knows where you will be in life. He knows how he is going to handle every situation and get you to the destination you want.

GOD KNOWS YOU

You are not what you think you are. You are what God says you are. You are not what your mum and dad think, say, and feel you are because before they met, God knew you. His thoughts are above yours. Gideon called himself a coward but God called him a man full of courage. Moses said who am I to stand before Pharaoh? I don’t know how to talk but God said my word is in your mouth. Paul thought nothing good could come from him because he persecuted the church but God used him and he wrote more letters to the churches more than any other disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. We can talk about Jeremiah, Sampson, John, and Jesus. You are who God’s Word says you are. You are a king or a queen on this earth, and Prince or Princess in Heaven.

EVERYTHING IS WORKING FOR YOUR GOOD

All our days are preordained. They were set before they happened. Every day of your life has already been pre – programmed.  On God’s calendar, there is nothing like coincidence. Everything has been planned. That is why you can’t fail. There is no such thing as failure. You may think things are not working out in your life, family, relationship, school, business, etc,. Hey! Let me tell you, they are working. All things are working together for your good. All things imply all things. Those you see as good, and those you see as bad. They are all working together for you good. No one can curse you. No one can change your destiny. There is a hedge of protection around you.

YOU NEED FAITH

Your Father in Heaven understands your life more than you think you know. Without Faith, it is impossible to please Him. Where you think there is no way, He has already made a way. Where your strength ends is where He begins. It is only a matter of faith. Faith that is not as big as your mobile phone but as little as the mustard seed. This is because we walk by faith and not by sight. Faith begins when ability ends.

GIVE HIM THANKS

Don’t waste time crying, worrying, talking, and being anxious for what God has already given to you. I will advise you thank Him instead. Listen to how Jesus started His prayer in John 11:41. “Father, I thank you that you have heard me”. That was before He spoke. He said I thank you that you have heard me. Heard what? What He was about to say. In Philippians 4: 6, we are encouraged to be anxious for nothing. By praying, supplication, with thanksgiving, we should make our request to God. In all things, give thanks.

CONCLUSION

Be encouraged today that you are a prophecy. Your life is divinely orchestrated. Nothing can stop you. Every limitation you see today is not real. You are a bundle of success showing everywhere. The battle is not yours, the victory is yours. There is an angle on your way. Don’t give up. Keep believing.
