When the Impossible Becomes Possible: The Holy Spirit’s Gift This Christmas

Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:34-35, NLT)

Have you ever faced a moment so daunting you thought, “This is impossible”? Christmas is the season when the miraculous becomes reality.

The mention and/or introduction of the Holy Spirit is the part of Mary’s story that changed everything. According to natural phenomena at the time, conception could not have happened without a man and a woman coming together. So, she asked, “But how can this happen?

Maybe 2025 has been the year when you have thought within yourself, “But how can this happen?” Let this message about Jesus’ birth remind you that the Power of God, the Holy Spirit, is ever present. Mary could not have done it alone without the Holy Spirit. In the same way, you cannot do it alone without the Holy Spirit. He is here to HELP. Do not be intimidated by what lies ahead, but trust that with the Holy Spirit in your life, anything is possible. I encourage you to ask boldly, trust deeply, and watch as the impossible unfolds before you.

I pray that as we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit who lives in you will vitalise your mortal body and cause you to move in the right direction, meet the right people, and obtain all the resources you need to achieve what you think is impossible. Step into this season with faith—miracles are waiting for you! Amen

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and many blessings from God!

The Beauty of His Temple

If you were to care for the temple of God and you had control over the process, as well as the capacity to fund it, how you would care for it? How would you want God to see what He has placed under your care? and How would you want the world around you to testify about this structure?

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,

(1 Corinthians 6:19, NLT)

There is something beautiful and powerful about putting God’s temple, your body, in a proper state. That is where you care for the body by providing both the spiritual and physical nourishment you need. And where you seriously embark on both spiritual exercises (like fasting and praying, retreat, etc) and physical exercises. When you put God’s temple in a proper state, there is always a supernatural flow and a great serenity, and you are able to carry on your divine assignment with ease.

However, God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple (1 Corinthians 3:17, NLT).

Be mindful of what you say, what you do, where you go, what you eat, and how you carry yourself within the 24hrs. Be mindful of how you care about your body for you are the temple of the Most High God. How beautiful is your temple today? Are there some changes (renovations) you need to make? Are there some habits you need to let go of? Can the world testify about the beauty of your temple to glorify God?

Thought For The Day: Pause, Think, Speak (12.08.21)

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips [to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly].

(Psalm 141:3, AMP)

Before there was Proverbs 13:3 or Proverbs 21:23, King David knew that words can make and/or unmake us, and they have eternal consequences. He understood that the mouth isn’t meant to say anything that pops on the mind. Therefore it was wise for him to seek the Lord’s help in managing his utterances.

Today, would you ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in this area? Remember Jesus’ words;

And I tell you that on the judgment day people will ·be responsible [give an accounting; answer] for every ·careless [idle; thoughtless; unhelpful] ·thing [word] they have said.

(Matthew 12:36, EXB)

This shouldn’t scare you because you have the Holy Spirit to guide you. So before you Speak, Do PAUSE, THINK (about the relevance of what you want to say), SPEAK. I pray the Lord finds us faithful in this area on judgment day. Amen
