You’ll Win

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

(Genesis 50:20, NLT)

You’ll Win. How do I know that? Simple: You’re a child of God and that’s your destiny. You’re destined to win. This piece would touch on Two Things you can do in order to secure this Win.

  1. Trust in the Author of Life:
    • You were brought on earth for specific assignment. God carefully planned your days before permitting you into the womb. That’s why out of some 200 millions sperms that were released from your Father, only One (you) got to the egg quicker. When you see the person “YOU” in the mirror, tell him/her that “You’re a Wonder, a Fighter, a Survival, and a Winner”. In effect, you were born a winner because you were faster than the 99.99999% sperms that couldn’t make it.
    • God’s plan for you to win was beyond conception. His prime goal is for you to achieve your purpose. He’s not giving up on you that’s why you’ve got to Trust Him. Trust that He’ll watch over His word or promises concerning your life to perform it.
    • Always talk to Him about every details of your life. That’s how trust is built. Your constant fellowship with Him ushers you onto greater heights that would enable you to have better view of His plan for your life.
  2. Trust the Process:
    • The pathway to your destiny were carefully mapped out by God. He factored your strength and weakness which makes it possible to have ups and lows. He also considered external factors that could impact your journey like people conspiring against you, famine, natural disasters, economic downturn, political instability, etc. Whatever it would take for you to win has been thought of and destiny helpers assigned to help you through.
    • You’ve got to trust the process. Nobody, ever lived, understood how God worked in their lives. They only trusted that since God was on their side, it would be well. That was why Joseph said that “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” God led Joseph to the end. His life was amazing despites some 13years of turbulences. He trusted God. He trusted the process. This enabled him to stand firm in temptation and incarceration.
    • Don’t stress yourself trying to figure out how God works because you won’t. This is one fact about life. If God should reveal what would happen and how people you call family and friends would treat you, there are many things you wouldn’t do, and many people you wouldn’t talk to. However, those events and/or people’s treatments are meant to catapult you into your destiny…like Joseph.
    • Trusting the process also means Trusting God’s leadership. The scripture says in Proverbs 20:24 that The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?
    • You can take a lesson from a passenger airliner. When you get on board, you either worry or enjoy. That’s you either worry about how the pilot would handle turbulences or emergencies, or you enjoy the journey believing that the pilot and entire crew are experienced to do their best under any circumstances.

Conclusion:

There are many things you don’t understand now and there would be couple of others you probably won’t understand till you die. But one thing is certain; God wouldn’t permit more than you can carry. He has equipped you so much so that if your remain faithful and live righteously, you would always come out better. Always remember that the One who helped you to outrun millions of sperms to fertilize the egg still sits on the throne and He is helping to achieve His glorious plans. This is why I strongly believe that You’ll Win. God bless you.

RECEIVING FROM GOD

20121127-085653.jpgFor this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. (Mark 11:24 AMP)

Some believers quote and believe “Keep on asking and it will be given you”.  (Matthew 7:7 AMP). Yet they do not receive. They ask but they do not receive answers to their prayers. Are you one of such people? Some believe what they asked for may not be the will of God for their lives. Well, I believe such people have not read what Jesus said that “If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”  (John 15:7 AMP). As a child of God, you always have to abide in Jesus Christ, and His Words must be hidden in your heart. His word must be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. When you live in Him and His words remain in you, your requests are made in line with what His Words say. For instance, you wouldn’t ask for a new car because a friend has got a new car when His Words live in you. The scripture says “be satisfied with what you have”. So when you make request for your selfish desires, God wouldn’t respond. What you ask for must be in line with what His Word says. Friend, when you are in God, His will becomes your will and whatever you ask for will be His will for you.

Why are people asking according to Matthew 7:7 but they are not receiving?

I believe such people have left out what Jesus said in Mark 11:24 20121125-121349.jpgBELIEVE (TRUST AND BE CONFIDENT) IT IS GRANTED TO YOU”. They ask but they doubt God’s power to perform. Abraham had Isaac because he believed in God’s power to perform. He was fully persuaded that God was able to perform. He didn’t doubt God when there was no reason for hope. He believed that God could create new things out of nothing. In the book of James, the apostle said “it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord”. So dear friend, after you have ask for whatever you need, you must have absolute trust and confident in God. You must be fully persuaded that God will grant you what you have asked for. You don’t have to look at your bank account, your sickness, your fears, your qualification, your business, your wealth, etc. You must trust that God is more than able to grant you what you have requested. Some of us who have applied for Jobs believe that their CVs can fetch them those Jobs. Some folks who are sick believe their money and doctor can heal them. Some people believe that their savings can save them in times of trouble.

These people pray to God but they doubt in their heart that God could bring something out of nothing. doubtingI remember one day a colleague said to me “brother, my CV has not been able to fetch me the Job I need”. I believe God could have gotten him the job he needed even without his CV. Let us believe that ONLY GOD has the power to grant us our needs through His beloved Son Jesus Christ.

Friend, whatever you have asked for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) it is granted to you, and you will get it. God has placed everything you need in Christ Jesus therefore trust that God alone has the power to supply your needs. Do not pause for a minute to ask how God is going to do His work as no one knows how He works. People who tried to understand how God works ended up doubting Him because His thoughts are far above our thoughts. You Job is to believe. ONLY BELIEVE.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and [a]let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. (Mark 11:25 AMP)

cant forgiveJesus spoke about three things we need to do in order to receive what we pray for in Mark 11. In verses 22 and 23, He talked about FAITH. He talked about BELIEVE in verse 24, and FORGIVENESS in verse 25. Forgiving people who have wronged us can be difficult considering the pains, or the harm they might have caused to our lives. But as believers, we have to forgive because our Father in Heaven forgives us when we go wrong. Friend, consider the price God had to pay to set you free from destruction; He sacrificed His only Son. Jesus loved you so much that He gave His life for you. When you choose not to let things go, they hinder answers to our prayers. “Say not, I will do to him as he has done to me; I will pay the man back for his deed.” (Proverbs 24:29 AMP).

I believe we are going to Forgive people for their mistakes, Pray for whatever we need in Faith, and Believe that it is granted to us. And we will get it in Jesus’ Name.

God bless you
