Everyday is a Special Day

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
(Psalm 118:24, NKJV)

How would you react if Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates deposits $3600 in your account every hour in a day, or $86400 in your account every day? That’s $31536000 in a year. But there is a clause; you’ve got to spend the money…no carry forward. And the last warning is that You will account for what you do with daily deposits at the end of your life.

There are 365 days in a year, 24 hours in a day, and 3600 seconds in an hour. You are credited with 86400 seconds every day. What do you do with these seconds? To break it down further, if you wake up at 6 O’clock each day, then you’ve automatically spent 21600 seconds. Additional 7200 seconds is gone if you sleep at 10pm. Every tick on the clock is irrecoverable. One hour on social media doing nothing is 3600 spent.

How have you plan to live each day this year? Are you going to start you day worrying about how you wasted your time yesterdays, or you are going to be thankful to God for blessing you with another 86400 seconds? Are you going to start you day worrying about what may or may not work tomorrow, or you are going to strategically plan how to use your remaining seconds after giving some 28800 seconds to sleep?

Let us learn to be thankful each day and ask God to direct our steps in using these precious seconds judiciously. These seconds are gifts that can’t be stored. Oh! how I wish they could be stored…I could do lots of great things BUT they pass by like the wind. I’ve learnt to treat each day Special.

God does new things every day that’s why he sends the dew to refresh every morning. It’s therefore important to understand the concept of One day at a time so that you can enjoy God’s blessings for the day. Remember that Yesterday is history and Tomorrow is mystery. Today is the ONLY DAY you have control over.

One other important reason you should treat each day special is that each day draws you closer to your grave. It’s appointed that you would die one day…what if TODAY were your last, how well would you live it knowing that judgement awaits you?

That’s why the psalmist said this is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. God will send prosperity, He will bless you But till you respect the value of 86400 seconds He gifts you, you won’t fully appreciate the things He does for you. God bless you

Perfect Time?

don't waste your seed“Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.” (Ecclesiastes 11:4, NLT)

Are you waiting for a perfect time?

Do you desire to have a time when everything is OKAY before you act?

From my little experiences in life, I’ve seen no such thing as perfect time.  Everyone has a need; Bill Gates has his needs, so is the poorest person. However, the difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich doesn’t wait for perfect weather to plant.  They plant their seeds and wait on God for rain.

The right time to act is Now. Therefore don’t sit idle watching the wind or staring at the clouds. In other words, don’t spend your productive time waiting for some indicators to get on right before you make a move. Instead, do your own work and get on with your life. Don’t say “if this or that goes through, then I would do this or that”, “if I can go to the university, then I can achieve this/that”, “If I could get this money, car, child, etc, then I could this or that”. God wants you to walk by believing and not by seeing.

Be encouraged to do the little you can today as you wait on God to Open the heavens to shower His blessings on your works.  Today is the day you have, Tomorrow may be too late.

Is there anything you are waiting for a perfect time to do?

But there are some things that you cannot be sure of. You must take a chance. If you wait for perfect weather, you will never plant your seeds. If you are afraid that every cloud will bring rain, you will never harvest your crops” (Ecclesiastes 11:4, ERV)

Short Message

FaithFarmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. (Ecclesiastes 11:4, NLT)

Are you waiting for perfect time, a time when everything is calm, before you act? From the little experience I have had on this planet, I have never seen anything like perfect time.  All of us have needs to be met. Bill Gates has his needs, so is the poorest person. The difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich don’t wait for perfect weather to plant.  They plant their seeds and pray to God for rain.

Dear friend, the right time to act is now. Don’t sit there watching the wind. Do your own work. Don’t stare at the clouds. Get on with your life. Don’t say “if this thing goes through, then I would do this or that”, if I can go to the university, then I can achieve this/that”, “If I could get this money, car, child, etc, then I could this or that”. God wants people who walk by faith.

Be encouraged to do the little you can today and God will bless the work of your hands. For we live by believing and not by seeing. (2 Corinthians 5:7, NLT)
