EVERYTHING’S GONNA BE ALRIGHT (PART 2)

Philippians_4-6In part One of Everything’s gonna be alright, we concluded that if we pray for God’s grace, discipline ourselves and keep moving forward, we will be able to overcome the desires of the flesh. In this piece, God wants me to tell the person who is in some difficulties that everything is going to be alright. Although you may not see a way or don’t know where help is going to come from, He wants me to tell you that He has a way and your help is going to come from Him.

Everything is going to be alright. It doesn’t matter what the problem is, everything is going to be alright. Go to God in prayer and tell Him what is happening in your life. Sometimes it gets to a point in life when there is no one to talk to, when everyone seems to turn deaf ears to your problems, when you are overwhelmed by issues of life, when you feel like ending your life. You may be among people who believe that life is not fair.

Friend life is fair and God wants you to enjoy life. Jesus said in John 10:10 (AMP) that “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows)”. God allows you to go through such situations in order to make you strong in faith. How would you know you are growing in faith if your faith is not tested? A student may be scared of writing tests/exams yet that is the only way he/she can be assessed and promoted. The scripture says that “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” (Proverbs 24:10)

When it gets to the point where you see no way or no help coming from nowhere, remember that God has a way and your help is going come from Him.

In Genesis 21 (NLT), Hagar and Ishmael were sent away by Abraham. When their water got finished, Hagar didn’t know what to do. She thought there was no hope for the child so she put the boy in the shade of a bush.  Then she went and sat down by herself about a hundred yards away. “I don’t want to watch the boy die,” she said, as she burst into tears.

But God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “Hagar, what’s wrong? Do not be afraid! God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Go to him and comfort him, for I will make a great nation from his descendants.” Then God opened Hagar’s eyes, and she saw a well full of water. She quickly filled her water container and gave the boy a drink.

From the passage, when there was no one to comfort Hagar and her child, God sent help from Heaven. When she got to the point where she saw no way and thought her child was going to die, the angel of God showed up. God opened her eyes to see a well full of water. He saved her and her child.

It is my prayer today that God opens your eyes so that you can see opportunities around you. I know, I believe, and I trust that if you keep on praying to God, and believe that you have received what you have asked for in prayer, you will get it in Jesus’ Name.

Everything is gonna be alright in Jesus Christ.

I will close with this hymn:

What a Friend we have in Jesus,

All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,

O what needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer!

Intercessory Prayer works

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. (John 10:10, NLT).

(See also 1 Peter 5:8)

Satan isn’t omnipresent so he works with his demons. These guys are responsible for all the evils we see in our cities, countries, and other parts of the world. 1 John 5:19 says the world around us is under the control of the evil one. The good news for us is Jesus holds us securely and Satan cannot touch us. (1 John 5:18). He will try but he will fail.

One truth you should take note of is when the enemy can’t touch you, he attacks people around you. Remember 1 John 5:19 says the world around us is under the control of the evil one. In other words, people who aren’t in Jesus Christ are under the control of Satan. Some of these people are dearer to our hearts. We love them, we care for them, and we want the best for them. Some of the people around us may also not be strong in the Lord. These are the people Satan will attack because he knows when he attacks them the result will affect us in some way.

Haven’t you realised that he is using our political leaders to make laws that affect Christians all over the world?

Friend, we have power to function in the Name of Jesus. James 5:16 says the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Our prayer in the Name of Jesus is powerful and effective so when we pray for these people, we will get the result(s) we need.

Praying for other people works. In the Bible, Abraham prayed for Lot and his family, Moses prayed for the Children of Israel, Jesus prayed for His disciples, and for those who will believe in His Name, and the church prayed for Peter when he was arrested by Herod.

I want to encourage you not to give up on praying for; that child who has gone astray, that person you want to win for Jesus Christ, your family, friends, political leaders, Christians all over the world who are suffering from various attacks every day, your country, your business, etc.

Satan’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. It is true that he wants some to devour BUT our prayer can stop him from attacking vulnerable people.

Keep praying.

IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

Then The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord ? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (Genesis 18:13, 14 NLT)

Be honest with yourself right now; Do you doubt God’s Power to perform?

Maybe facts show that you can’t have a child, or you can’t get admission to that school, or you can’t pay your fees, or you can’t have that contract, or your sickness is incurable, or your ministry is declining, or you are addicted to certain habits, etc. I don’t have any idea about how your situation is or maybe BUT the question I would like you to answer is; IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the Lord , the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:26, 27 KJV)

Friend, nothing is too difficult for Him. Don’t forget that we walk by faith not by sight. We don’t live by what we see, but by what we believe. I know that God is turning your situation around now in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Read ONLY BELIEVE if you can. God bless you
