Praise The Lord (15sec read)

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. 

Praise the Lord. (Psalm 150:6, NIV)

The book of Psalm contains 150 Chapters, consisting of over 2400 Verses. Isn’t it wonderful that after the thousands of Verses, the book ends with Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. 

Can you breath today? 

If YES, then PRAISE THE LORD.

Many people would have loved to SEE today; some rich, some famous, some poet, some great speakers, some presidents, some poor, some award winners, some game changers, some prime ministers, some professors, etc.

Some lovely people are on Life support breathing machines paying huge sums of money.

What is your story? How bad do you think your situation is? How unfair have you been treated? Inasmuch as I would share with you on that, I strongly believe that if you can breath, you can change the course of your life. 

God's templeThis is how you approach God every day: Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name (Psalm 100:4, NIV). Approach God with a mind, a heart, and hands full of thanksgiving and praise. 

Take your Praise to a higher level from today. Keep S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G in your attitude of gratitude. God bless you

Unreasonably Reasonable (1min read)

“Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes!…” (2 Samuel 6:22, NLT)

People who have no clue of what you have been through may never understand your Praise. It’s easy to think or say “what is he/she doing? why the show off? why the talk? why the dance? Is he/she insane? or anything “silly” you could ever think of But the real deal is that until you be through what that person has been through, you will never understand his/her praise.

In this year, God has promised to take us to a new level; It’s going to be something we have never seen, heard, felt before. Whatever you have been through can’t be compared to what He has set to do. I don’t know but it will blow our minds so be ready to do something crazy for Him.

That notwithstanding, to be alive today is a miracle and God deserves your praise. To leave the house in the morning and return safely in the evening is a miracle. Some people are bed-bound so walking to the kitchen, washroom, living room, bedroom, etc is a miracle. Having worked in the social care industry, I know that dozens of people are willing to give up all they have in order to do the little things we neglect to give thanks to God for.

Today don’t consider what others say or think about your act of gratitude. If you can shout, SHOUT. If you can jump, JUMP. If you can sing, Sing. If you can give, GIVE. Whatever you can, go wild for God’s goodness. It may seem unreasonable but hey it is reasonable for your Maker.

In 2 Samuel 6, we see Michal condemning David for how he acted in public. In verse 20 she said “How distinguished the king of Israel looked today, shamelessly exposing himself to the servant girls like any vulgar person might do!”. Michal did what any ordinary person would do because she was clueless about the amazing experiences David had had with God. The take home point is what David said in verses 21 & 22 “I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me above your father and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the Lord, so I celebrate before the Lord. Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes! But those servant girls you mentioned will indeed think I am distinguished!” 

In this year, don’t apologize for God’s goodness. Maybe you have been too gentle about it because of what people might think, say, or feel. I am here to urge you on that it is reasonable regardless of how unreasonable it may look. God bless us

What hinders Your Praise? (2min read)

dontworry_nivBless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. (Psalms 103:1, AMP)

Did you know that most important things on earth are FREE. Yes, FREE.  The air, Sunshine, Water, Strength (to get up from bed), etc

Thinks about this for a moment:

How much are you willing and able to pay for the air you breathe? or If Gas or Electricity companies were regulating Sunshine, like they do with Gas and electricity, how much could you afford in a month?

Having worked in the social care industry, I understand or know how much people are spending to receive what you and I get for free. It’s just by the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today don’t let petty little things about life, like job, money, clothes, car, and other material things keep you from praising God. It is good to praise the Lord. Consider the birds, they sing in the morning without having to worry about how the day will go. God someway, somehow provide for them. If God would do that for birds, how much more you, His precious possession?

As I said in Thought for the Month,  Your Praise will always precede your miracle. Therefore, Let everything alive give praises to the Lord! You praise him! Hallelujah! (Psalms 150:6, TLB)

My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless and gratefully praise His holy name forever and ever. (Psalms 145:21, AMP)

Praise the Lord Forevermore!
