Embracing God’s Love: You Are Enough as You Are

1–2 minutes

What did you do to deserve Christ’s death on the cross? I can guess right, and it’s nothing. The scripture says that ‘But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. ‘ (Romans 5:8, NLT)

Jesus Christ isn’t looking for your perfect self to love; He loves you just as you are. He wants to transform your messy self into a rich message that you can share. Don’t feel inadequate to come. The Apostle Paul said that this love is too great to understand fully. (Ephesians 3:19)

I have always told people this. The best time to take the car to a washing bay is when it’s dirty. Thus if you are caught up in sin and/or addiction, the right to be is in His love. Come Home.

Be encouraged to live in this reality that His love for you is too great to understand fully. And with His love, He is ready to freely give you all things if only you will ask.

God Bless You.

  1. God’s grace, Mercy and forgiveness are his motivating character qualities. If we just come home to him, we will discover this.

    1. Awesome. “If we just come home…”. Often we wander around seeking for refuge whereas He stands at our doors and knock. The easiest step appears to be the difficult one because of guilt.
      God bless you
