How To Navigate Through Life With Ease

In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]

(Proverbs 3:6, AMP)
  • Introduction:
    • There are two ways known to man in Life’s journey. One is Familiar ways (routine activities), and the other is Unfamiliar ways. That’s its either you are doing something you always do, or you are doing (or trying) something Different/New. Regardless of which one you choose to do, your journey in life can be filled with much fun when you acknowledge God.

  • Key Factors in Your Daily Planning:
    • When you are planning your day’s journey, you check the weather to know how it would impact on your choice of clothing, diet, and schedule. You also look out for traffic conditions; congestion, road closures, etc. if you are using public transport, you check bus/train availability and times. You acknowledge your local news channel briefings or phone app’s update on weather and traffic conditions before you embark on your journey. I remember in 2012 I missed my flight because the cab driver had paper map when others were using Tomtom with live update. We got stuck in traffic and by the time I got to Heathrow Airport, the gate was closed.
    • We miss opportunities and/or get into troubles in life when we set off without acknowledging the Omniscience God. God is more than a Satellite that enhances in-car navigation system and weather forecasting. As a matter of fact, He created the minds that invented these systems yet we tend to believe in them more than we do in Him.
  • The Wise man’s Counsel:
    • The wise admonishes us to know, acknowledge, and recognize in God in all ways . Note he said in All your ways and not when there is a challenge or problem heading your way. The result is that He will make your Paths straight and smooth. The closest I could imagine is your navigation system leading your through less congested road or picking an umbrella, which you wouldn’t have, 15 min prior to a heavy downpour. Think about this: The rain and/or congestion could have be obstacles that prevent you from being fruitful.
  • Conclusion:
    • Life’s journey is full of obstacles or roadblocks but when you Acknowledge God and Trust Leadership, the road (your Path) will always be straight and smooth.
    • Talk to God about everything and He will set you up for greatness.
