3 Things that Activate the Supernatural Part 1(2min read)

three-thingsIf you were given a formula that can make things happen, how would your reaction be?

Everyone wants success formula, or an easy way to achieve his/her dreams and aspirations. However, it is believed by many that there aren’t no shortcut in life. Well, that could be true in the physical but we (Christians) play by different set of rules. We operate from different realm where ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. ALL THINGS means all things. That was why Elisha prophesied that tomorrow by this time, there would be enough food when Samaria was besieged. The guard thought it wouldn’t be possible (because tomorrow was too quick to see such incredible thing happen). There are some people who would always object to the prophetic because they operate according to the world system. I came to tell you that your case is different.

Food came to Samaria through Supernatural means. This is the Same power I want to talk to you about today. The world of the Supernatural is real. Many people have shared testimonies about how things happened beyond their wildest imagination. I am not so surprised because I am told in the Bible, our Constitution, that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or imagine.

Maybe there are some things you want to see them shift in your life this year. Maybe the enemy has besieged your finances, joy, health, etc and you are wondering what you can do to break free? Cheer up! because there is a way. First of all, you need to understand that some things are just spiritual and no human logic or reasoning can explain. This formula was used by Jesus when challenging circumstances stood before Him. The Church used it. The Apostles used it. And people of faith are using it today.  Below are the 3 things that activate the supernatural to cause things to shift.

  1.  Prayer

When you pray in the Name of Jesus, nothing shall be impossible. Instead of worrying about your situation and trying to figure out how it would work out in the natural, go on your knees and pray. Elijah prayed, and rain stopped. He prayed again and it rained after some three and half years. Jesus would often withdraw himself to quiet place to pray. We read about Peter and John going to pray in Acts 3 at hour of prayer. Same is read about Paul and Silas in Acts 16:16. And our common story where the Church prayed when Peter was arrested in Acts 12. You can’t live without staying connected to the One who sent you to this world.

Let me bring this in the physical, United States has embassies around the globe. Each embassy has an ambassador and some staff sent from the US. Although they may be living in foreign countries, their identity as US citizens hold. There is constant communication and of course sensitive information is shared with foreign offices. When there is break in communication, terrible things could happen. It is a fact that sometimes the US may have privy to some intelligence before the foreign office because of the Power US has and the level of technology and commitment with allies.

This is same with us. Our home is Heaven and Our father is the Great I AM. He knows all things, and can do all things. He created the seen from the unseen, and even knew you before you were born. He sent you here on purpose thus He knows every detail about your life; your very hair is numbered. God knows the thoughts of your spouse, business partners, lecturers, staff, customers, etc. He can reveal them to you before you meet them if you ask Him. Elisha operated in that realm so he was able to warn the king about enemies strategies.

God also reveal mysteries. When King Nebuchadnezzar forgot about his dream, He revealed it to Daniel. That was super intelligent. So if there is anybody you could talk to about how things should be, or which step to take at any point in time, it has to be God. Prayer connects you to your source (Him). When you pray, your words have power to cause things to happen. Don’t stop Praying. It has to be your lifestyle where you wouldn’t need special occasion, gathering, or place to pray. You have access to God’s throne because of Jesus. Joseph Scriven, in what a friend we have in Jesus, said that what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Don’t ignore this great privilege and suffer for nothing. Prayer works and satan will do whatever it takes to stop you from praying.

Never stop praying. (1 Thess 5:17, ERV)
