Do you know how to sing Andrae Crouch’s “Soon and very soon“? It’s an old song yet it carries a message of hope and assurance that soon and very soon we are going to see the King. We are going to spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Are you ready if He comes today, even Now?
This should also remind us that Jesus came so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost, according to Luke 19:10. I thank God that you are saved and have hope of living with Jesus in eternity. How about those who are outside the body of Christ?
Because the time is near, our assignment to reach out to those who need to hear the Good News of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is urgent and important. Believe me or Yes, we don’t have the luxury of time because people are dying every day. People are making wrong choices about their future and don’t factor life after death in their decisions. It’s therefore our responsibility to prompt them as soon as we can and/or compel them to come to Christ.
Technology has made reaching out to people easier for us today than preceding generations. With your smartphone in your hand, you can share messages with thousands of people around the globe. Jesus, in Luke 15, said what happens in Heaven over a sinner who repents. In v7, He said “I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.” and in v10 He added “In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents [that is, changes his inner self—his old way of thinking, regrets past sins, lives his life in a way that proves repentance; and seeks God’s purpose for his life].” (AMP)
As you seek to bring JOY to your home, office, your relationships, neighbourhood, etc. would you consider doing an act that will instigate JOY in Heaven, and in the presence of angels of God in your everyday life?
Heaven is counting on you.
You might not be able to travel around the globe to share the Good News but your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WordPress, WhatsApp, etc accounts can be used to send messages to places you haven’t heard or seen before. And you could support missionaries who have sacrificed everything to travel to places you can’t go. As you do your part, the Spirit of God will handle the rest.

What can you do today, with what you have, to make your Father in Heaven and the Angels happy?
