Satan is after Your Soul

Where would you spend eternity?

templeThe enemy (Satan) isn’t after your business. He isn’t after your family, neither is he after any physical thing you own. Satan is after your Soul. He knows that you came from your mother’s womb naked and you will leave the same. Therefore what matters most to him is your soul.

When your days on earth are over, and your soul leaves the body, where would your soul be? Would it be in eternity with God, or Satan? 

Nothing really matters to God than the soul for whom Jesus came to die. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Consider how precious your soul is that God will sacrifice Jesus to save you from His wrath that is coming upon the earth. Jesus is preparing a resting place for your soul. But the question is would He come to meet you prepared/ready?

The Enemy’s purpose:

Satan, on the other hand, doesn’t want to face God’s wrath alone so he is trying to win as many souls as possible, with the help from his demons and people who have availed themselves to be used by him. Why do we see many false prophets today? Many wolves have clothed themselves with sheep skin and luring innocent people onto the broad way that leads to destruction.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ AMP)

Satan knows what you desires, and he is aware of your greatest fear. As a result, he attacks you in the way(s) that will shift your focus from God. He seeks to destroy your love for God. When you take three people for instance, Satan will attack the first one’s family, the second one’s job, and the last one’s properties. He works in various ways but his mission is to make God’s children doubt God’s love for them and to destroy their relationship with God.

What you should look out for:

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God stays for ever. (1 John 2:15-17)

Satan can also add up to what you have through evil ways which may be right in your sight. You may say “Well, everyone is doing it. It is normal to steal, deceive, lie, cheat, etc to make money, or seek dark powers for money.” When He comes this way, remember what Jesus said that “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36, 37 KJV).

He can give you 1001 reasons through the books you read, movies you watch, songs you listen, people you listen to, etc to justify the desires of the flesh: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, etc. When he uses this way, remember that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19, NLT)

What you should do:

Satan is after your soul. However, he can’t touch you when you take delight in the things of God. That is when you allow your love for God to supersede everything you do. When you love God, you keep His commands. In that way, you dwell in the secret place of the Most High and Jesus holds you securely. You walk on the narrow road that leads to eternal life. When you are on the narrow road, your focus is  on Jesus and things of this world means nothing to you.

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. (‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ AMP)

If you are not sure of your position in Jesus, today is your day. Confess your sins to God and ask that Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NLT) says that “if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

      okay so the first paragraph makes me think I’m correct in the decision I made to not go through this ceremony… recently began having dreams about a “trance” I was placed into when I was 21… wherein my so-called “friends” created an “alter ego” named Shaggy who’s a “special operative” “secret organizer” “security officer” he “slides on” etc… it was supposed to be my first time getting high on meth with a bong and torch although recently I’ve begun thinking that had happened once before… providing instructions for how I was to live my life, performing terrible deeds to women in relationships… a couple of years later, after bringing one of those individuals out to Texas, I acquired the nickname “Shaggy” at work (with 7 other Daniel’s this was just easiest). I left about 9 months later, and he’s blamed me for LOTS of things since then… however at the end of the “creation” of the alter ego they proclaim him a “Sex Offender” and when he returns to his hometown shall wind up adopting a certain lifestyle and committing a felonious act… long story “Shaggy” is supposed to be “the dream” at the end of everything I was supposed to stand nakedness in a sports field at midnight masturbating and all the lights would come on and I’d “wake up in a ‘whole new world” and this “ceremony” was to be called “a star being born”… we’ll I showed up, I mockingly performed the act, but I did it beside the stage while flipping the camera the bird. The flood lights on a police car came on and I walked over, the officer asked what I was doing and I responded “making a call” he looked disgusted and told me to “get on home” and several nights later dreams of this night in 2011 began… well the individual I’d brought to Texas did bear a nickname of “the devil” while the other one involved was a “spiritual medium” who 2 years ago talked me into “that lifestyle”… would the flash of those sports fields lights have been the final step of the “sacrifice” of “Daniel’s” soul and my body now operated by a demon from Hell trying to get to the higher realms? Or has “Shaggy” been the demon this entire time? I’ve spent years refusing to quit smoking weed because it suppresses dreams, and my dreams were always weird and trippy I’d get terrible sleep and I’m now thinking that was “Daniels” mind trying to scream that there’s something wrong and I feel like I have always been “Daniel” but there’s not much to find on this because well… it’s the “war on drugs”

    and while “Daniel” is defined to mean “God is my Judge” I’ve always responded to that wit unfortunately I’ve had too many of “those” and today identify as a Norse Pagan… because “God” is but a title, Yahweh and Odin are both known to send ravens, kill giants and have their faithful wander, Jesus was a carpenter (as am i) so I’m certain he often carried a hammer as did Thor and my lineage is Norwegian, Swedish, Irish and Welsh. They never signed a covenant with Yahweh to be free of Egypt. After the Tower of Babel who’s to say they’re not the same? What few discrepancies are found between teachings I like to reference the first episode of “the walking dead” where twin sisters are out fishing and talking about their dad who taught one “catch and release” the other how to gut and clean because that’s what he felt the child needed to know.
