DAY 3: LIVING THE WORRY FREE LIFE

dontworry_nivDon’t worry about sicknesses/Diseases

And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5, NKJV)

Jesus is your healer. Hallelujah! Among the benefits you enjoy as a child of God is freedom from sicknesses/Diseases. However, when you listen to the news or hear stories about outbreak of diseases in your country or other parts of the world, you may be tempted to worry about the chances that your kids, husband, wife, or you could be infected. The truth is these sicknesses/diseases are for those who do not have Jesus. The scripture says “Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you

Jesus paid the price for your healing on the cross of Calvary. You are covered by the Blood of Jesus. As a result, don’t live your day worrying about rumours of diseases killing people around you. Don’t allow the enemy to steal your joy in Christ with the doctor’s report about your situation. In as much as your doctor may be an expert, we have The One (Jesus) who has cure for every sickness or disease that can be named.

“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayer, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”  (Philippians 4:6-7, MSG)

God wants you to live worry free life. He wants you to pray about everything, including the sickness/disease you have in your body today. One song writer said most believers worry because they don’t carry everything to the Lord in prayer.

You have power in the Name of Jesus to heal the sick. I don’t know the report you have about your health. But I do know what God has said concerning your life. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you. And by His stripes you are healed. Instead of worrying, pray.
