Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:17, 18 NLT)
Last summer I missed my flight and it kind of puzzle me anytime I think about the cause. The flight was scheduled to take off at 2.20pm but I got to Heathrow late. I left home 11.15am because it takes me an hour to get to Heathrow. However, the cab driver had no live navigator and was using paper map so we got stuck in traffic. A cap driver, in the city of London, using paper map while others are using Tomtom (live services) to see what is ahead on the road. it was was amazing. The normal one hour journey turned to two hours 45 minutes so when I got to Terminal 5, the boarding gate had been closed and I had to pay extra money for the next flight. I was so disappointed and regretted picking that cab. At that moment, I heard the Holy Spirit saying that
Son, this is how people who would miss the Rapture would feel. They would be disappointed, and regret ever doing the bad things they did but it would be too late. You can miss your Flight but don’t miss the Rapture.
Friend one day you would be with Jesus forever. Hallelujah!. God has been good to you in that you have life today to make things right. Who knows? Maybe He is coming tonight. Turn away from your sins and come back to Jesus. Don’t be stuck in traffic like I was last year. Rather search for the free way which can be found in Jesus. Who knows? Maybe He is coming tonight. When the roll is called up yonder, will you be there? You can miss your flight but don’t miss the RAPTURE.
I will close with this song;
1. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more
And the morning breaks eternal, bright and fair
When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there!2. On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise
And the glory of His resurrection share
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there!3. Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there!Chorus:
When the roll, is called up yonder,
When the roll, is called up yonder,
When the roll, is called up yonder
When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there!
