GOD HAS SPOKEN

“Yes, I am God. I’ve always been God and I always will be God. No one can take anything from me. I make; who can unmake it?” (Isaiah 43:13 MSG)

Paul said in Romans 8:31 that if God is for us, who can ever be against us? One with God is a majority. Beloved, God has spoken. No one can take anything from Him. He is, and has always been God, And when He makes, nobody can unmake it. This is a powerful declaration by the Most High God.

Did you know that He finished everything about you before He allowed you to come into your mother’s womb?

He said in His Word that He has plans to prosper you. Quit worrying about who has threatened, or is threatening, you. And know that whoever messes with you, messes with God for you are an apple of His eye. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you is condemn.

He promised in Isaiah 41 saying;

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. “See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing. For I hold you by your right hand— I, the L ord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

(Isaiah 41:10-13 NLT)

Friend, the future you seek is God’s past. He equipped you before you came to the womb. He has all you days written in the palm of His hands. No powers of darkness can stop you from achieving your goals. The enemy will try but will fail. What God has made, nobody can unmake it. And when He is for you, nobody can be against you.

Sometimes you will see your enemies planning to destroy you, you see them fighting against you but they will not overcome you. Haman planned but He died before Mordecai. You will see all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Take heart and know that no one can take your destiny from God. Hallelujah!

GOD IS WITH YOU is another message I will encourage you to read.

LIVING CLEAN IN A DIRTY WORLD

The scripture says “anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT). Before you came to Christ, you lived according to the customs of the world. Your thought life, your words, and your actions were based on what you learned through socialisation. This old life died when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Your life now is a new one. The problem is although you are a new person, your environment hasn’t changed, some people you used to play with in your old life haven’t changed. In summary, the world isn’t getting any better so you are living as a new person in an old dirty world.

And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (Mark 13:13 NLT)

Jesus had enemies because he thought differently, acted differently, and taught differently. He didn’t conform himself to the customs of the world. He lived clean in a dirty world. As you are living your life to please Him, the world isn’t going to accept what you think, say, or do. It is going to take offence of everything you do and people will go against you.

Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. (Hebrews 12:3 NLT)

Although parents, brothers, sisters, friends, business environment, society, etc are not going to accept you because of your new nature, Paul encourages that you think of all the hostility Jesus endured from sinful people so that you won’t become weary and give up. Don’t give up because the world hate you. Don’t give up because of the opposition you face in your office, home, church, etc. Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2 KJV).

Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world. (1 Peter 2:11, 12 NLT)

In A STRANGER IN THE LAND, I wrote about how you have to live as stranger on this planet. You are not of the world. Heaven is your home. Therefore let others see Jesus in you. I heard a story about what happened in a Sunday school class. The teacher described the live of Jesus and asked if anyone had seen Jesus before. Surprisingly, one girl stood up and said Jesus lived in a house across her street. Later in the day, the teacher found out that the man the young girl thought was Jesus lived like Jesus. His thoughts, words, and actions made the girl believed He was the Person her teacher was talking about in class. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:16 NLT)

CONCLUSION;

With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity.

But that isn’t what you learned about Christ. Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need. Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.

(Ephesians 4:17-24, 28-30 NLT)

God bless you

STAND FOR THE TRUTH

Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. (Colossians 3:9 NLT)

It is difficult to discern who is telling the truth. People seem to seek their own interests ignoring the interests of their neighbours. Some believers fabricate lies to make money, or to get what they want. They easily forget what Jesus said that “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life [his blessed life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his [blessed] life [in the kingdom of God]?”(Matthew 16:26 AMP).

The world system is such that Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception. (Psalms 12:2 NIV84). This was how we once lived but now we are in Christ. He is the Truth. Jesus spoke the truth without being intimidated by any man so as His followers, we always have to tell the truth without any intimidation. When Pilate said, “So you are a king?” Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” (John 18:37 NLT)?. Do not worry about who will be offended when you tell the truth after all it is God you are pleasing not man. If God is for us, who can be against us?
The truth should be the mark of every christian. when people around you are lying to each other, you must let your light shine.

all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)–[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. (Revelation 21:8 AMP)

Hell is the final destination for liars. Therefore do not lie to your neighbour. Be truthful and do not compromise your integrity. Very soon, the King of kings will come for His own. Will He find you truthful? Jesus could come on a day you choose to lie. So when you hold your phone to make calls, say nothing but the truth. when you stand before your congregation, say nothing but the truth. When you meet your business partners, say nothing but the truth. When you are in the midst of friends, say nothing but the truth. Whatever you do, wherever you go, whoever you meet, know that God is watching you and He wants you to say nothing but the truth.

Conclusion;
It is difficult to discern who is telling the truth. The world system is such that Everyone lies to his neighbour. when people around you are lying to each other, you must let your light shine. Jesus spoke the truth without being intimidated by any man. Don’t be concerned about who will offended when you speak the truth. Hell is the final destination for liars. As a result, Whatever you do, wherever you go, whoever you meet, know that God is watching you and He wants you to say nothing but the truth.

God bless you!
