I believe September is going to be a month of increase. Everything about us will increase, and we are going to soar like never before in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
I want to start this month with Proverbs 3:5-6. The NIV says;
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5, 6 NIV84)
To Trust in someone according to Marriam-Webster is to place confidence in that person. That is to trust in God means to place your confidence in Him. Every child believes the father is the strongest man on earth so as believers, we have to believe that our Father in Heaven is the Only One we can depend on. He doesn’t disappoint His Children.
The wise man is encouraging us to depend on the Lord with all our heart because we believe with our heart according to Romans 10:10. When we place our confidence in the Lord, He will never put us to shame.
In this month, I want to encourage you to surrender everything unto the Lord. He has your best interest at heart. He promised never to leave you, nor forsake you. One thing you should take note of is; don’t interpret things by the way you see it because your understanding is limited. Try as much as possible to see things from God’s perspective. Know that He is working everything for your good. Don’t depend on what you have but in everything you do, acknowledge that the Lord is your Source: He is the source of your strength, wealth, power, health, etc,. Acknowledge that without Him, you are nothing.
The scripture says commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. If you are looking for a bigger and better opportunities in this month, commit everything you do to the Lord.
I believe before this month ends, God will show us His Power in greater ways. Trust in Him, don’t lean on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all you do, and I believe He will never put you to shame. Amen!

Interesting blog and I am not sure what God will do in this month of September but one thing I am seeking and that is God uses me like He’s never used me before. My desire is to be able to lay hands on the sick and they recover, to speak the word of God with more boldness and declare the good-ness of His word and see what He gives me to speak come to pass..thus saith the Lord of Host..AMEN

Hi again De preacher, (Proverbs 3:5, 6 NIV84) was the first Scripture that really touched my heart 30 years ago
and as you shared it is indeed very important that we don’t Trust in fleshy understanding but how wonderful that when we are in Christ Jesus we have the mind of Christ and are no longer bound by our flesh but are perfected in Love, having put the flesh to death.
Corinthians 2:16 But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ.
Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.

It has been wonderful having it as my theme for the month of September. I have learnt to trust Him more and more. He is my everything, and I trust am going to do that more and more.
One other thing is my understanding is limited, thus relying on it means I would be living in a limited boundaries. His is unlimited so relying on His means I would have unlimited boundaries.
