HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK

This is what the Lord says “…he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.”(Zechariah 2:8 KJV). You are God‘s masterpiece. He told Jeremiah “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 NIV84). God has a purpose for everybody; He has a plan for you, and He has a plan for me. Whatever He promises, He is more than able to perform. When He told Moses He would take His Children out of Egypt, He did that. He took them, fed them, and kept them through the wilderness. He provided manna for them and the Scripture says “For forty years you sustained them in the desert; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.”(Nehemiah 9:21 NIV84). He is more than able to accomplish what He starts.

You are not a finished product. God is still working on you. When Joseph was “work-in-progress”, people did know who he was until God finished with His work on Him. David also became a King. The truth is God would show you a picture of your future. However, He wouldn’t show you the ways and means He Would use to take you to that future. Most of us have had revelations about the future. We hope for the best. But only God knows how He is going to get us there. Someone once said “we may not understand everything happening in our lives. But one day, we would. One day, we would know that they were all part of God’s plan”. I listened to Steve Jobs presentation at Stanford University. I thank God I did because it made me understood what I am sharing with you today.

So many things may be happening in your life now. Some you do understand, some you don’t. You may feel like giving up. No! Never give up. Quitting is not the best option. Losers quit. God is working behind the scenes, putting things right for the flourishing future you seek.

I know all things are working together for my good. I believe in God’s power to perform. I trust in Him. But as a man of flesh and blood, sometimes, I come to a point where everything seems not to be working the way I plan. I sometimes feel like giving up is the best option.  At that point, I renew my mind with God’s Word, and His promises.

Satan is a smart guy. He is out there to make you believe all his lies. Be vigilant and know what the Word says concerning your life. God will do what He says He will do.

I would encourage you to keep on moving forward. For God will what He had said. Even if you don’t see any progress, don’t quit. Keep believing in Him, Keep trusting in Him, and know that He has your best interest at heart. He who knew you before you came to the womb will never leave you, nor forsake you. He is the Great I AM.
