“You can have more of everything but you can’t have more time.” This is a profound statement. You can have more money, more houses, more cars, more clothes, etc but you can’t have more time. Each one of us has got 24 hours in a day. Whether you choose to use it wisely or not, nothing could be done about it. It is surprising that most people waste time hoping for a better future. The people the world talks about today ceased the opportunities they had. When Zacchaeus heard that Jesus was passing by in Luke 19, he did all he could do that moment. He never said “well! Let me wait when He comes again I would see Him”. He did something that made Jesus called him by his name “Zacchaeus”. He received Grace. Jesus said in verse 9, Jesus said ” salvation has come to this home today”.
My question today is;
ARE YOU LIVING IN THE PRESENT?
Most believers talk about the future when God wants to work in the present. God can wait if you want Him to. For God says,
“At just the right time, I heard you.
On the day of salvation, I helped you.”
Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT). Why do you want to wait for the future when you could have what you want now? The right time is NOW. Put your Faith to work.
Moses’ words when he came before the red sea, and the Egyptians were behind him is a driving force behind my Faith. In the physical, it was a deadly scene. I could say it was a no hope situation. Moses knew the right time for them to move forward was that moment. The people complained But Moses told them “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.” (Exodus 14:13 NLT).
I don’t know what you are going through today, I don’t know the time you have set for God to supply your needs. Some people are waiting for the future But if you will believe that God can supply your needs in the “today” of your life, He will do it. He is more than able to do what we ask or think.
When David met Goliath, he believed that God was going to hand Goliath to him that day. Don’t forget that Goliath had been there for forty days. When David came, he knew there was no time to wait. He could have told Goliath “I am going to get ready for you tomorrow”. Instead he said “This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.” (1 Samuel 17:46 NIV84)”. Today is the day you have.
God wants to bless you today. He wants to supply your needs according to His riches in glory. Are you ready to receive? Or you are hoping He would do it some day in the future?

Do you believe God can open doors of opportunities for you today?
He is a miracle working God. Martha thought Lazarus was going to resurrect in the future but Jesus raised him from the dead that day. This is what I believe; No matter what you have set your mind to achieve, with the anointing of God upon your life, you can do it Now. Lazarus came back to life, so I believe you would see life in any dead situation today in Jesus’ Name. Nothing is too late for God, My Father. He makes crooked path straight, He creates path in the sea, dried bones came back to life, the barren gave birth, the hopeless had hope, the faithless had faith, and you are coming out greater and better. Get up and begin to live and believe in the Present. The right time is now.
I will close with this;
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. (Psalm 118:25 KJV)
