BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS

false-prophetBeware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.Matthew 7:15

Marriam-Webster dictionary defines BEWARE as to be on one’s guard. Among the things Jesus told us to expect before His Second Coming are False Prophets. It is a biblical prophecy and nothing could be done about that. John said “Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.1 John 2:18.

In Matthew 24:11 Jesus said “And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people.” NLT. I believe their purpose is to deceive many in these last days. These False Prophets are men and women who have allowed themselves to be used by Satan to work against God’s Kingdom.

Jesus is the truth. There is no lies in Him. He represent Light and no darkness can be found in Him. The truth hurts sometimes but I believe that is all we need to be Set Free. The scripture says “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” John 8:32. Most people, including believers, don’t want to be told the truth. They easily become offended when someone preaches the truth. And since the church now acts like a free trade society, they easily switch to where they will hear what they want to hear. This has made their (false prophets) work very easy because people now troop to their auditoriums to listen to their lies without having to invite them. They are everywhere; on TV, radio, magazines, Internet, on streets, offices, etc. they have enough resources, and partners so their voices could easily be heard all over the world.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3 NLT.

Friends, it is becoming very difficult to distinguish between the good prophets and the false ones. Jesus added they come to you dressed like sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. They stand behind he pulpits as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.

They perform signs and wonders as good prophets, but inside they are devouring wolves. They quote the scriptures, but preach otherwise. Jesus says “BEWARE”. Be on guard for they are deceiving many. “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24.

These guys want to satisfy their own selfish desires. They have commercialized the Christian Faith to their own selfish advantage. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. “By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.” Romans 16:18.  They live luxurious life in the name of God’s blessings while the members suffer.   “In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money.” 2 Peter 2:3 NLT.

Here is what Paul has got to say; “These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NLT)

Jeremiah 23:16 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD”

We can identify them by their fruit, That is by the way they act. Good tree produce good fruit, but bad tree produce bad fruit. By what they preach, act, etc, we should be able to identify who a false prophet is. Friends let us take time to study the word, and practice what it says because once we know the truth, nobody can take it away from our hearts and it will set us free.

Jesus is coming soon. The reward for these false teachers will be their place in the Lake of Fire.

I pray God directs our path as we await the Second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS!

THE JESUS’ LIFE

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, but by Him. He is the Way, that means before we can make it to Heaven, we have to walk on the Path he walked. We have to say what He said, and do What He did. He said in Matthew 5:16 that Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. In other words, people should be able tell who we are by the way we conduct ourselves.

To live the Jesus’ life is to ask yourself the question; Would Jesus think, say, or do what I am about to think, say or do? What would Jesus do if He is faced with what you are facing? Before we make any decision, or take any action.

To live the Jesus’ Life is to acknowledge the statement that a servant is not greater than his Master. That is He is greater than us so we should not conform ourselves to this world or compromise on our faith in Him.

To live the Jesus’ life is to have compassion on lost souls; Souls that are heading toward hell. We must win souls for His Kingdom. We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. John 9:4 NLT

To live The Jesus’ life is to feed His sheep. Most shepherd today are not feeding their sheep. Jesus fed the multitude before sending them away. But what we see today is different. The sheep are struggling to survive while the shepherds are living luxurious lives, all in the Name of God’s blessings. Jesus encouraged the rich young man to sell all he had and give them to the poor. We must live Jesus’ life.

To live the Jesus’ live is to be ready to sacrifice for others. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13. Jesus sacrificed his life us. He showed his love for us by dying for our sins. I always tell people that my definition for Love is Sacrifice. If you can’t sacrifice, then you can’t love. Let us love our neighbours, forgive them when they sin against us, and be very generous.

To live the Jesus’ life is to Crucify the flesh. Jesus said “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. Crucifying the flesh means turning away from things that destroy the Spirit. We must say no to the desires of the flesh daily And focus on things above. We must fix our eyes on things above, that is we must lay for ourselves treasures in Heaven.

Friends Jesus coming soon. Let us all watch and pray, encouraging one another, loving one another, and caring for one another.

Jesus is coming soon!

THE SAVIOUR TURNED JUDGE

Here is a story I read from Christian Women Mirror somewhere in 2010. Today, I would like to share because we are living in the last days, and very soon, the SAVIOUR is coming as a JUDGE. Take time to read, and apply it in your life. God bless you

The story is told of a border town where a horse bolted and ran away with a wagon carrying a little boy. Seeing the child in danger, a young man risked his life to catch the horse and stop the wagon.

Sadly, the child who was saved grew up to become a wicked man and one day he stood before a judge to be sentenced for a serious crime. The prisoner recognized the judge as the same man who, years before, had saved his life. So he begged for mercy: “You saved me once, can’t you save me again?” But the judge said, “Young man, then I was your Saviour; today I am your judge and I must sentence you to be hanged.”

In the same way right now, today, Jesus is the merciful Saviour. But there will come a day, the judgement day, when Jesus will be the fearful Judge.

As Paul says it, And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to REPENT: Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given assurance unto all men, in that he has raised him from the dead. Acts 17:30-31.

Will you accept His free salvation now or wait for His fearful judgement?
