Thank God this is September….whew! I just checked mine and realised that major works need to be done in order to achieve set targets. Funny questions I asked myself: What did I do with all the time? Could it be that the year is moving faster than I thought?….Well! for me I guess misplaced priorities could be a factor. Am like a student who has spent one and half hours reading questions and only have thirty minutes to write answers…probably I thought I should understand the question better before I write.

The reality is that January to August, all gone and September will soon end. Nothing can be done. Whether good or bad, there are two options: 1. Continue staring at the wasted time and opportunities or 2. Focus on the remaining time and make good use of it.

Life isn’t about what you did in the PAST But about what you can do with what you have NOW for a better Future.

2018 isn’t dead yet which means that you can restructure yourself and work hard to achieve more. Remember: Forget about the past and look forward to what lies ahead. If you have achieved marvelous things so far, know that you can still do better. Be ready for final laps in 2018 and Finish Strong.

The Best is in Your Future

It is sometimes difficult to let go the past. It could be something you achieved in the past, or the worst pain you went through. Its easy to get stuck in the past life But the truth is there is nothing good about the past. Whatever happened belongs to history. Whether someone hurt you, insulted you, rejected you, or you won the greatest prize in the universe. They belong to the past.

what are you doing today to have the best in your future?

Are you going to trust God or rely on your past?

In the scripture, Paul acknowledged that he had achieved something but he hadn’t reached his goal, which was to possess the perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed him. According to him, the sure way for him to achieve his goal was to forget all that he had done in the past, and focus on what was ahead.

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, (Philippians 3:13 NLT)

God told His children that

I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King. I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick.
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:15-19 NLT)

Lionel Messi was the best football player (that was in the past), and he is the best football player (in the present). I believe one thing that has made him four times winner is he doesn’t sit around and brag about his past successes. He doesn’t stand on the pitch and tell other “you know I was the best player…” He does his best each day for a better tomorrow.

I don’t know what you have done in your past life, neither do I know the kind of people who had done you good or bad in the past but I am here to encourage you to look forward because your best is in your future. Focus on God, and what you want to achieve in the end.
