HAPPY NEW MONTH

20130215-173932.jpgThis is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.  This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:23-24, NLT)

Hello Everyone,

I welcome y’all to this New Month. We thank You Lord for protecting us from January to this day. Truly, it is the Lord’s doing and it is wonderful to see. In the New Year Message, I quoted a passage from the scripture which I want us to take some time to meditate on it;

“Day to day the Lord takes care of the innocent and they will receive an inheritance that last forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough” (Psalm 37:18, 19, NLT)

Day to day the Lord takes care of you and you have received an inheritance that last forever. You will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine you will have more than enough. Hallelujah! God’s word can be trusted. The keywords you should take note of are Hard times and famine.

God never promised that there will be no hard times or famine in your journey. However, He has promised that in those hard times or famine (credit crunch, economic downturn, recession etc), you will not be disgraced and you will have more than enough because His grace is sufficient for you. This is the promise of your Father in Heaven.

The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it! (1 Thess 5:24, MSG)

As we begin this month, be encouraged with these words that

  • God is taking care of you

The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. (Psalm 121:5-8, NLT)

And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. (Matthew 6:30, NLT)

  • He has already made provision for everything your needs

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23, NLT)

HAPPY NEW MONTH!

NEW YEAR MESSAGE

20130215-173932.jpgHello Everyone,

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who takes care of us. He doesn’t withhold any good thing from us and He has assured us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. With this assurance we know that whether we walk through fire or through deep waters, He is with us. When enemies surround us, He will protect us. I want us to thank Him for everything He has done, everything He is doing, and everything He will do in our future.

I WELCOME Y’ALL TO 2014.

2014 is going to be a great year. As a matter of fact, I believe it is going to be the best year in our lives. God will do all He has promised and He will see us through successfully. David said in Psalm 37:18, 19 (NLT) that “Day to day the Lord takes care of the innocent and they will receive an inheritance that last forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough” Hallelujah!

The Lord will take care of us in 2014 and we will receive blessings that last forever. We will not be disgraced when Storms hit us and in famine or when the world is crying in times of difficulties, we will have more than enough. In verse 25 of the same Chapter, He added “Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.” It is my prayer that none of us beg for anything this year in Jesus’ Name. Amen

The last thing I want to talk about is that it is becoming the norm these days that believers all over the world come up with theme for the year; “my year of breakthrough”, “my year of promotion”, “My year of double portion”, “my year of purity”, “my year of favour” etc. it’s all good But 2014 is the Year of the Lord. Don’t sit idle and expect miracle to happen. Get up and do something. Jesus can come this year therefore let us make every effort to brighten the corner where we find ourselves. Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14, NIV). Don’t be consumed by your church theme for year while you neglect some of the basic things our Lord God requires from us. For instance don’t be greedy and selfish in seeking promotion because “it’s your year of promotion”. Instead keep doing your best; Love your colleagues like yourself, and do your work as pleasing unto God for promotion comes from the Lord. Psalm 75:6.

I trust you are praying continually for me. I pray for you too. No one shall be able to stand against us this year as God has already defeated our enemies. The Battle is not yours, but God’s. God bless us!
