Equipped for Exploits

Then the king promoted Daniel [to an exalted position] and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon

(Daniel 2:48, AMP)

To be equipped means to be supplied with the necessary items for a particular purpose according to the oxford dictionary. It also means to prepare (someone) mentally for a particular situation or task. In this year, one word that you should remember in every situation or circumstance is equipped. God has already equipped you for that.

An exploit is defined by the Cambridge dictionary as a brave, interesting, or unusual act: There is something brave, interesting, and unusual you are going to do this year, and you are (already) prepared mentally for that.

The Scripture says in Daniel 2:48 (AMP) that then the king promoted Daniel [to an exalted position] and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.

Before Daniel was promoted and presented with many great gifts, there was a task: not a good one; one that’s unusual. The King was ready to destroy all the wise men of Babylon if they fail to tell him about his dream and the interpretation. According to the wisdom of Babylon, no man had ever done that yet the king would show no mercy if they fail to meet his deadline.

The good news was that before King Nebuchadnezzar had that dream, In Daniel 1:17 (NLT) God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams. That is God equipped Daniel before this task or situation.

Therefore if you are alive to see this day, this week, this month, this year, then know that God has equipped you for exploits. The right people are within reach. The resources are available. The opportunities are visible. The mysteries are solved. The only thing to be done is to do what Daniel did. Daniel and his friends went to God and presented the case before Him. And because God had already gifted him in that area, the answers flowed smoothly that night.

The reason why you see different people with different challenges is that God permits His children to face challenges He knows that they are prepared (spiritually) for. This is why it is suicidal to think that what worked for your colleague would work for you. We are different people with different gifts which in turn attract different challenges.

I pray that God helps you to realize the gifts or the necessary items He has equipped you with to do exploits in this year and beyond in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Marked for Exploits

…the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].” (Daniel 11:32, AMPC)

You’re born to Soar

You are not here by accident” is a popular preachers’ line that emphasis how God purposefully created you. Whichever country you find yourself today, God has you there for some specific assignment(s). And once you move with God side by side, you shall remain strong and shall stand firm and do exploits for Him.

The Bible says “it is appointed unto men once to die” (Hebrews 9:27, KJV) and your days on earth before such appointment, according to Psalm 103:15, “like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.”

This is our common destination and the motivation to love what we do. You don’t have enough time, so do I. Every day you wasted being unfruitful goes against you thus be mindful of things that steal your time, energy, and other resources. Also find joy in task(s) you do, regardless of how small it might be and who it might be for. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the place of the dead), where you are going. (Ecclesiastes 9:10, AMPC)

The end of everything you do shall be well because God is your strength and He has marked you for exploits. As you journey through this year, move with this awareness that whatever you find yourself doing, the end will glorify God. With that in mind, you will pay careful attention to details and strive for perfection. Your God will reward your efforts and cause the least you’ve done to be magnificent in the eyes of men. God bless you and make you a blessing.

Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, (Colosians 3:23, AMP)
