God will fight the Battle for You

God will fight the battle for you. And you? You keep your mouths shut!” (Exodus 14:14 MSG)

God fights for His children everyday. He works behind the scenes so we don’t actually see what He does but if He should pull the curtain for us to see what happens around us, trust me we will never complain, or doubt Him for a millisecond.

At times you may feel He has kept silent, you may see your enemies planning against you, and everything will seem to be falling apart. Hear me, during those times your Father in Heaven will be working behind the scenes for you. The truth is He wants you place your absolute trust in Him. Remember His promise that

“I will go before you and make the rough places smooth”
(Isaiah 45:2 NASB)

“God will fight the battle for you. And you? You keep your mouths shut!”

I don’t know the Pharaoh that is threatening you, neither do I know the Goliath that is tormenting you day and night.
I don’t know the Haman who is planning to wipe you from the surface of the earth.
I don’t know the Nebuchadnezzar who wants to throw you into fire.
I don’t know the Herod who is killing people around you.
But
I do know the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in Battle. He is the King of kings. He is the One who is fighting your battle for you.

You keep your mouth shut. In other words, don’t complain about your situation. There are people who always talk about their problems, and how unfair they had been treated instead of praying. Don’t be part of them and know that He who is in you is greater than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!
When the people were complaining in Exodus 14, Moses spoke to them:

“Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians today for you’re never going to see them again.(Exodus 14:13 MSG)

Friend take a good look at your enemies or problems today for you are never going to see them again in Jesus’ Name. God will fight the battle for you

HOPE FOR TODAY

Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. (Job 14:7 NLT)

Over the past years, I have realised from my interaction with people, including believers, that people easily give up when they are hit by storms of life. A young girl, who is afraid of losing her boyfriend may end up displeasing God by committing fornication. People lie to secure their jobs. And some believers have resorted to the ways of the world because of fear of the unknown. It’s hurting to see people turning their back to God because things didn’t happen the way they planned. In Job 14:7, the scripture says “Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. (Job 14:7 NLT). A tree doesn’t give up so easily. It trust that when everything else goes wrong, God can bring back life into it.

God has your best interest at heart. He provides air for breathing, the sun to give light during the day, and the moon and stars at night. He gives you strength to get up every morning, and protects you when you sleep like the dead. These are the most expensive things on earth yet He doesn’t require anything from you. Think about the cost of your salvation. It cost Him the life of His Son.
Since God continually provide these essential things in your life, why do you lose hope or give up on Him when you are faced with little issues of life? A tree, which wasn’t created in the image of God, has hope that if it falls, it will rise up again. Thus, God doesn’t want you to be afraid if your boyfriend or girlfriend has threatened to leave. Trust that He will send the right person into your life.
He doesn’t want you to panic if you see giants on your promised land as He has equipped you to fight every battle.
He doesn’t want you to worry when there is no food on the table, or no money in the account. He is working behind the scenes and I believe He has sent an angel to get you out of that situation.

God has promised that “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm —You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. (Joel 2:25, 26 NIV)

Be encouraged that if you fall, you will sprout again, and grow new branches. When Job fell, He rose again, and his latter days were better than before. We serve a mighty God.
God bless you
