The good news on earth is a soul that is assured of Eternal Rest. And this rest can only be found in Jesus. No matter how much money you make, how many properties you can acquire, the rule hasn’t changed; Naked you came, Naked you would leave. So don’t be swayed by the pressure of accumulating wealth while neglecting what is important, Your Soul.
Seek Jesus, Look for Jesus, Live for Jesus, Love Jesus, and know that nothing good would be left of you if you gain the world and lose your soul. what can you give in exchange for your soul?

We have seen and/or heard about many great people who once lived and left with nothing. One is Alexander the Great. His last wishes were:
To have best doctors carry his coffin to show that best doctors can’t save life in the face of death
To cover the road with his treasures to let people know that material wealth remains on earth
To leave his hands outside the coffin so that people will know that he came to this world empty handed and he was leaving same.
Everybody will leave someday. what we should always remember is that there is life after death. When your time is exhausted, what account are you going to give? How have you used your talent(s)?
From the first day you opened your eyes as a baby to the last day you close them, how would your story be told in eternity?
Our God is a God of justice, but also a God of mercy. Through the blood of Jesus, God’s mercy is available to us now. It is up to us to decide to accept it. We don’t want to be camping out in “Sin Forest” when judgment time comes. January 1, 2007
Jesus may tarry but you can die at any time. Are you ready for eternity? Seek what is important on earth, which is a soul that is assured that he will find eternal rest. Jesus is waiting for you at the other side. Are you prepared for Him?
Say this: Jesus I offer my life to you. Be my Lord and Saviour and guide me as I journey through this world. Amen
Al Jazeera’s Desperate Journeys shows the struggles refugees go through in their quest to find peace and prosperity. Some of the stories are disturbing and you may wonder why people would go through the uncertainties on the Mediterranean Sea to enter Europe. When reporters interviewed some of the refugees, they stressed on instabilities and hardship in their home countries as the main reasons for risking their lives on the sea. It’s sad when the new break that people are drown or missing at sea. It was estimated that over 3800 died in the Mediterranean refugees in 2016.

Why would these noble people risk everything to enter Europe?
These stories bring into mind what Peter said in 2 Peter 3:7
“And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgement, when the ungodly people will be destroyed”.
The future of the heavens and earth is foretold in the Scripture, yet people are being adamant. In the natural, fear of death propels us to seek refuge or sometime economic instability forces people to flee to different countries for better lives. And I ask; how better can a life be than spending ETERNITY with the King of Kings, and to walk on a city build with gold? Yet we pay little or no attention to the needs of the Soul and Spirit, forgetting that body will return to dust.
What plan do you have for your soul in the afterlife?

You may have insurance for your car(s), house(s), electronics, or even life assurance. These are good but how have you insured your soul?
These refugees risk everything because they believe that Europe is a better place. In the same way, Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for us and when He is done, He would come back for us so that we would spend eternity with Him.
The fact that Peter said heavens and earth have been stored up for fire doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t dominate the earth. It doesn’t also mean we should live poor and allow the ungodly people to setup systems to rule us. The emphasis is on living holy and godly lives as the day approaches. You shouldn’t allow your earthly blessings (which are temporal) to hinder you from spending eternity with God. Paul told Timothy that “After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.” (1 Timothy 6:6-7, NLT). You should strive to enter through the Narrow gate that leads to God’s Kingdom.
In 1 Corinthians 7:29-31, Paul said that “But let me say this, dear brothers and sisters; The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage. Those who weep or who rejoice or who buy things should not be absorbed by their weeping or their joy or their possessions. Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For the world as we know it will soon pass away”.
Friend, Hell is real and every Word of God shall come to pass. Jesus said many times that
“there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth”
(Matthew 8:12, Matthew 22:13, Matthew 24:51, Matthew 25:30).
Let us consider what happens and what people do where there is tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, civil war, famine, etc. During these events, people run for their lives; they leave their properties behind because what is important at that time is their lives. Nobody wants to die yet the Bible says “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27, KJV).
Just as you would run to seek refuge when local authorities announce for emergency evacuation, the Bible clearly has warned us about the wrath of God that is coming upon mankind so flee from the wrath to come. (Matthew 3:7)
Consider your ways and turn to God if your have drifted away by your desires and/or sins. Be prepared to meet our Lord
It’s been over a month since I shared a post or spent time online. I could have spared some time to share but all the same, I thank God for seeing us through to November 2016. Truly, God has been good to us. I don’t know about your story but generally God has been good to us. Despite all the terror threats and scares, God kept us. Brexit scare, ISIS threats, Al Shabbab and Boko Haram threats couldn’t keep us from enjoying the best of life.
I constantly pray for Africa, especially in war-torn regions. I also pray for Haiti and most importantly Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, etc as there are many innocent souls dying every day who don’t know Jesus Christ. I pray for Europe as they welcome some of the refugees. I pray for US, Asia, etc. I really desire that PEACE prevails at every corner of the earth YET these things we watch and hear are signs that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is closer than we first thought.
The news about Christ Second Coming shouldn’t scare you because the world isn’t getting any better: The uncertainty about America’s future after the election, the uncertainty about Europe’s future after Brexit, the bleak future of the Middle East and some parts of Africa, threats from ISIS and other Radical groups, the constant threat from North Korea, the growing power of China, the worries of NATO, and the growing aggression of Russia should tell you that this World is moving in a certain direction. The love of many has waxed cold and a person’s crave for political power could cost lives of many innocent souls. The world isn’t getting any better my dear friend.
I came today with this short message that Jesus, your best friend, Lord and Saviour is coming again. The Signs of the End Times are obvious now than ever in human history.
It’s good to create wealth for the body but it’s far better to find a resting place for your soul in eternity
“Don’t you know that those doing such things have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who live immoral lives, who are idol worshipers, adulterers or homosexuals—will have no share in his Kingdom. Neither will thieves or greedy people, drunkards, slanderers, or robbers. There was a time when some of you were just like that but now your sins are washed away, and you are set apart for God; and he has accepted you because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you” (1 Corinthian 6:9-11, TLB)
Is there anything that is slowing you down from running your race or living the kind of life Jesus expects you to live?
“Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us” (Hebrews 12:1, TLB)
Let us pray for one another and encourage one another as the day draws nearer. Jesus wants us to enjoy life on earth but it will be disappointing if you allow these short term blessings to destroy His bigger plan for you. He said in John 14:2-3 (TLB) that “There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly.” If Jesus comes to meet you unprepared, it would be a very sad moment. Please today is the day you have to make things right as Tomorrow might be too late. Jesus is Coming Again, Soon.
Say this Prayer:
Father I come to you today, Just as I am. Please forgive me for my way(s) of life. I confess that I know You but I live otherwise. I may cover my sins that no one else will know but I can’t hide it from You. Cleanse me with the Blood of Jesus and make me anew today. Lord Jesus, I confess that You are the Son of God and I believe that God raised you from the dead. Father I thank You for saving me today in Jesus’ Name. Amen
