Misplaced Priorities (15 sec read)

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.  (Eph 5:15-17, NLT)

Redeeming the time means making the most of every opportunity. When priorities are wrongly placed, undue attention is given to things that are of temporal worth at the expense of the things that are of eternal and more significant value.

Satan knows too well that once priorities are misplaced, it becomes much easier for him to cause havoc and untold miseries in the lives of individual, families, communities and even nations.

You must identify areas of misplaced priorities in your daily schedule as well as the havoc that have been caused. Then make a determined resolution to put things right.

Thought for the Day: He Will Answer (11.23.23)

He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

(Romans 8:32, AMP)

God gave Jesus Christ for you. He did not withhold him so you can be rest assured that He will not withhold anything from you. Remember that all things were made through Jesus Christ and with Him, you have all things. Today, be encouraged that God will answer your request(s) in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Start Today

He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed], and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest].

(Ecclesiastes 11:4 AMP)

Today is the day you can begin what you have long waited for conditions to be perfect. I have found out in these few years that I have lived that conditions will never appear to be perfect. That is there will always be an excuse to defer what could be done today. And the more you procrastinate, the more optimistic you become that tomorrow will present another chance. But remember that today is yesterday’s tomorrow. In other words, if you have an excuse for every “today” then the “tomorrow” you wish for will never come.

What are you waiting for? What do you want to see before you begin taking steps? Know this every day that the day will do what it will do and you have to do what you can do. The scripture says that “He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed], and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest].” Maybe you have been waiting for all conditions to be perfect but I came to encourage you that what you have now is enough to start. Start Today.
