Don’t Worry About What People Say About You

If you ever feel troubled by (or worried about) what people say about you, remember this: people misunderstood Jesus too.

Some accused Him of working by the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of demons. Others thought He was out of His mind when He said, ‘Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. ‘ (John 6:56, NLT)

Yet Jesus never allowed false opinions to stop Him from fulfilling His purpose.

So don’t be discouraged when you are misunderstood, criticised, or wrongly judged. Your Lord faced the same, yet He walked faithfully in love, truth, and obedience. Stay focused on God’s call for your life.
