Who stands with You?

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion].

(Proverbs 27:17, AMP)

Who stands with you? Is it an inspired person, or an expired person? An inspired person is hopeful, resourceful, and optimistic. This person sees the need to be different and to do better than he/she currently is.
An expired person is stagnant and always dwells on the past. This person is out of touch with reality and has no mojo. He/She always sees the glass as half empty.

It has been said that if you want to be inspired, then you do not move with people who have expired. This is true in every great relationship. If it’s always you giving; time, encouragement, resources, ideas, visit, etc, soon you will run out.

This has nothing to do with cutting people from your life, but it is about knowing who you are, what you want, and those who can help you to live your life on purpose. Remember that you cannot be a blessing if you are not blessed. If you are not helped, you cannot help. You too need someone to lift you up. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion].

Thought for the Day: What is Your Sacrifice? (06.15.22)

Jesus Christ foresaw you and I coming together in Him to worship God. He foresaw the beauty of Eternity with Him. As a result, He sacrificed himself. We are who we are today because of what He did then.
In the light of this, when you look into your future; your great-grandchildren, your lineage, etc what are you ready and willing to sacrifice whilst there is life?

Why You Should Intercede In Prayer (30sec Read)

Satan wants your attention. His goal is to shift your focus from God thereby destroying the relationship you have with Him through Jesus Christ. He does this by either attacking you or something and/or someone you love. Often a strong believer spends more time praying for himself or herself and ignores the people and things he/she cares about. But remember that when the enemy cannot attack you, he attacks someone or something close to you. His goal? Your attention.

Jesus prayed for Peter in Luke 22. In Verse 31 and 32 He said “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.

Satan knew that he could not match Jesus Christ in power and glory so he went after the Rock upon which Jesus’ church would be built. Imagine that if Jesus had kept to himself and not prayed for those around Him, Satan could have had his way in Peter’s life and ministry, as well as the other disciples.

Therefore this week as you carry on with your busy schedule(s) and pray for yourself, remember those around you. Pray for them because you may not know what they are going through. Pray for your supervisor, employer, employee, stakeholders, friends, family, church, leaders, etc. Satan would always seek ways to get your attention so Watch and Pray. God bless you.
