Power Thought: Week 11 (1min read)

WhichWayThe Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. (Psalm 37:23-24, NLT)

Every driver hates traffic congestion, especially under scorching sun, or during rush hour, and/or when running late for appointment. We often plan the journey (being mindful of alternative route(s))…and to make life bit more easier, tom-tom could prompt us to divert. To most of us, live navigation system guides us throughout the day even when we don’t know the next destination.

If you use the subway, bus, tram, etc…it is equally important to have information about your route before you set off in order to avoid cancelled trains, road closures, etc.

In effect You need some sort of information and/or direction to guide your mobility in life.

Projecting what has been said above, Life itself is a journey and If you don’t know where you are going (or have enough information), how would you know when you get there? Therefore you need information, direction, or guidance from Someone Who knows the future to guide you in the present. Just as we get frustrated when we get stuck in traffic because we didn’t get traffic information, we will get frustrated in life if we don’t seek God’s guidance at every step along the way.

There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12, AMP)

As you begin this week, lay your plans before the Lord and pray that He guides you along the best route. Stay connected to Him throughout the journey and obey whatever He tells you. In the believer’s world, God has His angels stationed at strategic positions to help him/her so be assured that you are not alone and Help will come when you need it most. Though you may stumble, you will not fall because The Most High God, Your Father, holds your hand and Nothing shall be impossible for you.

Your week is blessed and no demon of hell has power to undo what God has already accomplished for you. Have a blessed week

Power Thought: Week 10 (1min read)

The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do] From this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:8, AMP)

In a world where you don’t know (and can’t imagine) how cruel or wicked the thoughts of next person(s) to you are, the only way you can live happily and worry-free is to rely on the Words of The One who has infinite Power to protect.

From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe Fear has grasped the hearts of many; people are afraid about their lives, their kids, freedom of movement, etc. This is not how God intended for us to be as He has not given us the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Jesus also said “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John 10:10

Anything that is not of God (Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above…James 1:17) is from the devil. All we see is just the physical manifestation of evil thoughts satan brood on people’s mind. In other words, there is spiritual side of the evil we see in our societies and watch on the news.

But as God’s children, we can be assured that Jesus watches over and protects us and the devil can’t touch us.

We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him]. (1 John 5:18, AMPC)

Always commit your day and every thing you do to the Lord and make every day a Happy day, knowing that the Creator of the Universe has got your back. Have a fruitful week

God is up to Something (1min read)

The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like yours. Your ways are not like mine. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9, ERV) emphasis added

When you are down to nothing, God is up to something. When you feel nothing is working and your world is falling apart, know that God is up to something. When everyone has given up on you, and you feel like you are alone, I can assure you that God is up to something. Throughout the Bible we read stories about how God showed up at the midnight hour to perform wonders.

When Joseph was down to nothing, God was up to something. God has a secret path in the sea but if He doesn’t allow you to get the shores of the sea and make attempt to move forward, you will never experience His awesome power of making the sea part. I don’t know what you are going through today. It may be as scary as the Children of God before the red sea but your Father in Heaven will deliver you before your enemies get closer. Remember His ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.

You may be down to nothing, but I can tell you God is up to something. Don’t see your situation as setback because God can do in a single day what you have tried to achieve in 10 years. Whatever you have been through has prepared you for something bigger, better and greater.

We walk by Faith, not by sight. Don’t settle for what your eyes could see. Live beyond your boundaries. You may be down (in your) now but God will do wonders in your life before (your) tomorrow. Only Believe.

  • Why worry when you can Worship?
  • Why panic when you can pray?
  • Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Be encouraged that God is up to something BIGGER, BETTER AND GREATER
