carryyourbooks_nivI listened to one preacher some years ago who preached about worry and anxiety. The message was powerful and I was totally renewed after listening to the one and half hours message. He shared a story in the message which I want to share with you today.

The story was about one little girl who believed that Jesus has power to do everything. She talked Jesus, walked Jesus, sang Jesus, and did every with Jesus on her mind. One day someone approached her and asked;

What would you do around midnight when everyone isn’t around and Satan comes to knock at your door?”

The little girl answered

“This is so simple. I will tell Jesus to answer the door for me”

Scripture:

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV)

Lesson:

This little girl understood the significance of casting all her cares on Jesus. Sadly enough we get frightened when Satan knocks at our doors. Some of us talk like unbelievers who live by their senses.

Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2, NLT)

dontworry_nivAs human beings, our needs will forever remain insatiable. The richest person has a need, so is the poorest person. No one has got it all. However, the good news for us is JESUS. When we ask in His name, we receive.

Be encouraged to give all your worries to Jesus. Tell him everything, including the big and small issues, in your life. He is the best friend you could ever have.

Jesus understands your situation better than you do, and He has infinite Power to supply them. Jesus saved Peter when he cried for help on the water and He wants to hear from you today. Give all your worries to Jesus.

God bless you!

  3. Thank you for sharing this Story Uplifting Christ, we read many Stories in the Scriptures of Peoples lives, good and bad and we can learn from them and our own lives too, if we have eyes to see God’s reality in them and in other peoples lives too.

I thought of my Childhood when I read your Story, I was like this little girl, I will leave you a Link of my early years but I was deceived and told that Jesus was not real and that I came from an Ape.

    A lost child- http://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2011/09/27/the-early-years-a-little-lost-girl/

I believed my Teacher and Mother in my immaturity and so messed up my life believing my best Friend was not real but Jesus rescued me more than once, so sad that some put Him in a box of their own understanding, rejecting who He is and His purposes and power, but still claiming to know Him.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne

    1. I thank Jesus for saving you from that false belief. Our true friend is real. Jesus is very real.

God wants us to trust Him like the way little children have trust in their fathers. every child believes his/her father has enough money to buy candies, toys, etc. the child also believes his/father is the strongest man on earth. I believe if we believe God like these little folks, He will do wonders in our lives.

      1. So very True Uplifting Christ, we are to become like little children Trusting and dependent and then in the Maturity that we have through the empowering of The Holy Spirit as we choose to walk in His fruit we also become complete with all that our Abba Father has given us, not materially although we are very thankful for these but Spiritually.

        Blessings- Anne
