  1. Thank you Uplifting Christ, great Scripture, yes we may be persecuted, look what the early Christians endured but we will be Victorious in Christ Jesus, that is a promise.

      1. Jesus told us, Uplifting Christ that many will be against us, especially Satan but what this Scripture is referring to is they will not have the final Victory God protects our Soul, yes Satan will put us to the test like he did Jesus, Job, Paul, Peter etc but God will keep us strong till the end, as we draw close to Him the Devil flees and our Loving Abba Father never leaves us.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

      2. These scriptures confirm what one said that one with God is a majority. Although we may be alone during those times (temptation, persecution, etc), we will conquer with the strength from God.

  2. How wonderful Uplifting Christ that God never leaves us, He tells us in Isaiah 43:1-3 and in the Scriptures below, unless we push Him away by sinning, He is always with us, regardless of the Storms we encounter in our life and also no Temptation is greater then we can bear.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Psalm 23 :1-6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

    Blessings – Anne
